"This Just In" Starts Sunday (New conservative cartoon show)
Spike TV ^

A new TV show about a conservative columnist will be repeating today (3/14/04). Its first episode (about Ted Kennedy) ran on Friday but I missed it and so did a lot of freepers. If it's any good, expect it to come under fire from the Hollyweird leftists. If we're lucky, maybe we'll get something as good as "South Park."

(And yes, for the record, I voted "Arnold.")Well, I voted for Tom, so I'm afraid I cancelled you out. Sorry for the disenfranchisement!
Hope you like tonight's episode. I'll be snooping around for comments.
I'm sure we'll love it. I record it because it's on opposite Drudge radio. (grin)

Hey, welcome aboard, I'm watching it now and it's great! Gotta throw some fun in there about the French and Germans. :) Or maybe the Spanish Socialist Conquest? Heh, seriously great show and waaaaaaay overdue!

Another good episode. Some zinger in almost every one line. And they come one after the other. There are SO many of them it's hard to even remember them.
I loved the Steve Irwin, MJ Baby toss. The last line was great "it takes the LA times years to find them", and liked the Kerry flip-flop ... slippers headline.
I hope you're able to keep up this pace!

Yeah, the phone ring was good but did you catch that he had the cat tied in a high chair and he was spoon feeding the cat what looked to be his testies?

The second episode was pretty funny, though I didn't like the priest joke in reference to St. Joe's basketball team. Though "in balance," the Mormon girls gone wild sketch was funny (but just plain WRONG at the same time). ;-)

Another great show! "We shouldn't pull out of Iraq. Pulling out early is what got Clinton in all that trouble" (sorry if that's not quite right).
You really nailed the women's networks, too. Watch out for those squeelin' squirrels.

Thanks, you guys!
Glad you liked it.
Next week: It's the first anniversary of the Fall of Baghdad, and Newport shows his support for the troops, at the same time trying to get Tindle to go see "Hellboy."
As always, I'll be snoopin' around here to see what you think...
:)

Damned cool show. The cat-whip phone ringer is pretty funny. Moby growing a beard after drinking the soup was way funny. It's definitely a must watch.

Hi, Steve!
Caught the show again Sunday the 4th. Pretty good overall - especially liked the reality show with Scott Peterson.
The only flaw I can see is that you need to be careful to not take too much of an "Inside Baseball" approach - I know almost all of the political references, so I get the political jokes - but I watched it with my couzin and he didn't get some of the puns.

Looks like your Fox News Pole Girls bit was just a few weeks ahead of it's time - Playboy's running an on-line poll for sexiest female newscaster. I'll ping you to that thread.
Have you figured out the self-search function yet?

loved the transformation of Moby. The chick flick theme reminded me when my son wanted me to kill Richard Gere. He was at the movies with his girlfriend. She was crying all through the movie. He sat there think of his friend's tee shirt, which said ''I drink pee'' (don't ask me why). At the end of the movie his gf asked what he thought of the movie. I bet you can guess what he said.

"stay tuned, next I'll tell you what John Kerry's Penis tastes like."---- I'm glad I wasn't sipping my beer,I almost fell out my chair. I'm assuming you were referring to Err America Radio..
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Show idea.............Newport goes to a JF'nK townhall meeting and gets to ask a question.

Mar 21 2004 10:30PM #102 - Vagicentrics Sami turns the bar into a "chick bar," leaving the boys barless; Henry's brown skin and mustache finds him at odds with Tom Ridge.
This is the episode we saw Friday night on SpikeTV (we stumbled across it... we'd never heard of "This Just In" before). My husband and I thought it was absolutely hilarious! ;-D
