The Spanish People Imperil Entire Europe with Their Capitulation to Terrorism
The Spanish people have chosen the path of capitulation to terrorism with todays election. Their choice is shameful, if that can even be the word for it, and has now imperiled the entire of Europe as well as the rest of the world. They have chosen not to blame the criminal fanatics who have done this, but to blame their own government for this horrific terrorist act, and to blame those who resist terrorism. This is what they have proclaimed today, and this absurd and shameful proclamation while not as horrific as the terrorist act itself, it is nevertheless appalling beyond words.
The terrorist fully understand the message of the people of Spain, and their cowardice.
The Spanish people have chosen the path that believes, if we just leave the terrorists alone, maybe they won't hurt anybody, and that it's better to just do nothing and let the terrorist network grow larger and more powerful, and then maybe they won't do anything to someone in Spain. Even more so, as appalling if not more appalling, they have joined with the Socialist who do not blame the terrorists, but blame the West, and blame the victims of this terror.
Their is a new word in European lingo for suicide. Its a Spanish word. The word is PAZ!.
It is pathetically sickening. Not only will we see more of such horrific acts, the Spanish people have now enabled the enemy, a message to the rest of the world that the method of terrorism indeed works, and even destined the horrific blood-bath of such terror to proliferate through this victory that the Spanish people have now given to the terrorists, now embolden.
The Spanish people chose who to blame. Their decision is absurdly repulsive - but as absurd as their decision to blame the victims of terror for the terror, to blame those who would resist terror, the absurdity has a unique irony. A unique irony in that, as they capitulate to terror and have blamed those who resisted terror, it is an irony in that with the next act of terror in Europe it would be acceptable to blame the Spanish people in return for what is to come.
I certainly will.
The Spanish people have imperiled their own, and Europe. They have imperiled business enterprise, the markets. They have imperiled the children.
They mark Europe as cowards, ready for the next belly punch.
And of course, that is exactly what will happen now. Each nation or people that resist this terror, they are target first. But that does not mean the others are no longer targets.
Very soon, they will find, they are all targets. And the Spanish people very much look like Jews getting on the trains to the camps saying, The German people are good people. They would never do anything so beastly. It is the fault of our own Rabbis. They cause our problems. Now just get on the train.
I hope Spain has a nice ride, on the train.

Well said.
I hope Spain has a nice ride, on the train.
Were you thinking of that John Turner song in particular? I was.

It has begun... the real war. Poland is next....
I hope not, but they are now in serious danger.

Spain has chosen the caliph of satan.
To: Brian_Baldwin
Well, we're going to make the same choice in November.
I hope and pray that Americans have better sense than to choose "Capitulator" Kerry.
He plans to sit down and 'jawbone' the terrorists,
Come to think of it, who better to jawbone someone? He's got plenty of jawbone.
I hate to see what has happened to Spain as the result of the train bombings. I was proud of them for standing staunchly with the United States.

Well said, but they imperil more than Europe. As sure as a Dem lies, they will try something here late october or early november.

I guess there is still some nostalgia for the "good old days" of Muslim rule.

Spain has been intimidated into abandoning the war on terror. This is a sad day.

Caliphate of Cordoba, here we come!

Good post.
Italy will likely be the next target. They'll also try to influence the U.S. elections in the hopes of elevating Kerry to the presidency.
But they'll also target even the Euro-weenie countries, because they'll be emboldened by this.
The idea that Al Qaeda is more upset at the countries that supported the Iraq war than the countries that supported the Afghanistan war is ludicrous. The Afghan war was aimed at Al Qaeda. Does anyone really think they're going to give pro-Afghan war Germany a pass because of German opposition to the Iraq war?
To: Ole Okie
If one were to don a tinfoil hat...
One could almost wonder if the bombings, the AlQaeda tapes, everything was planted by the Socialists...
It all sure came down mighty conveniently for that party.

I'm of two minds on that. I'm not sure whether hitting us before the election would help or hurt Kerry. Guess it would depend on the hit. I have my suspicions of what they'd do if they did do something. I can only hope our government is as paranoid as I am :)

I understand your points. However, it is a mistake to underestimate the skills and ability of the Spanish anti-terr groups. Good shooters not bound by pc limits.

I agree that the Spanish people made a dreadful mistake, I don't think it's helpful to be mean about it.
After all, they are just acting out of pure grief. People will do anything to make that sort of pain stop.
They're not thinking clearly right now. We still have to support them and remain a steadfast ally to them.
They are going to need us. Sadly they will probably suffer this again.
