FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - A man suspected of murdering nine of his family members apparently was involved in polygamy and incest, fathering two of the victims with his own daughters, police said Saturday.
The bodies of six females and three males, ages 1 to 24, were found tangled in the back room of Marcus Wesson's home Friday. Fresno's largest mass slaying ever quadrupled its homicides for the year in a single day and disturbed officers so much that some immediately needed counseling.

This is such a shocking crime for those of us who live in this area. I saw a picture of this monster on the news, and he looks like some kind of wild creature. My prayers go out to the victims and the family members left, and to the officers who are now so disturbed after viewing this unspeakable act.

Reports are that there were ten wooden coffins found, which he had built previously, according to neighbors. There were nine dead bodies found, but he surrendered.
Interesting also, on a Google search, the French have really picked up on this family tragedy.

I am sure this has to do with the evil courts and the way they favor women over men in custody suits......*sigh*

Why the surge in the brothers as serial killers? (Chickenhawk Mohammed and his "boy" Malvo)
I thought that was the domain of peckerwoods and peckerwoodesses?

Why the surge in the brothers as serial killers? How about Mormon brothers?
Amy Smart comes to mind, as well.

They still have police working in this area? Why? I thought anything goes. Laws are just suggestions.
Murder? So?

There was a piece on TV a couple of weeks ago about the polygamist Mormon communities on the Arizona Utah border, and it's amazing how brainwashed the wives and children are.
I can easily see one of those towns or families doing a mass murder/suicide bit.

Dyer said police believe they know the cause of death, but would not release that information. If the victims had been shot, we probably would have heard about it by now, and Diane Feinstein and Ted Kennedy would be dancing in the blood.

Why the surge in the brothers as serial killers? This guy is a mass murderer, not a serial killer. Mass murderers kill their victims all at once, usually in one location. Serial killers kill sporadically/methodically over a period time.
