Transcript of Purported Al-Qaida Videotape
The Associated Press Published: Mar 13, 2004
A transcript of the videotaped message claiming that al-Qaida carried out the Madrid bombings. The tape was translated from Arabic into Spanish by the Spanish government: ---
"We declare our responsibility for what happened in Madrid exactly 2 1/2 years after the attacks on New York and Washington. It is a response to your collaboration with the criminals Bush and his allies.
"This is a response to the crimes that you have caused in the world, and specifically in Iraq and Afghanistan, and there will more, if God wills it.
"You love life and we love death, which gives an example of what the Prophet Muhammad said. If you don't stop your injustices, more and more blood will flow and these attacks will seem very small compared to what can occur in what you call terrorism.
"This is a statement by the military spokesman for al-Qaida in Europe, Abu Dujan al Afghani."

It'll be interesting to see how the elections in Spain go tomorrow. The Spanish are largely against the war in Iraq, but they are also largely against the Prophet Mohammed.

I saw this tape....and there is a portion of it that has the voice of Hanoi John Effin Kerry that says that "he (Hanoi John Effin Kerry) approves of this ad".

I look forward to reading MEMRI's analysis of this videotape. They thought that the letter on Friday seemed spurious.

I still believe that it was the ETA with the cooperation of Al Qaeda. The ETA have more to gain with the attacks is AlQaeda takes the blame. It's that simple.

I think perhaps this is a bogus tape. I mean, the guy meant what he said, but that doesn't mean al-Qaeda is responsible. It could be a ploy on the part of some socialist activists, to undermine Aznar's party.

It would be sort of self defeating for the ETA to do something this horrible.

I think you are right on. This whole thing is very orchestrated, what with the protests today and all.

You love life and we love deathThat statement is not only at the core of the Al Qaeda philosophy, but at the core of the conflict that is increasingly becoming known as World War III.
The bad guys love death. The civilized world love life.
We will prevail.
Just damn.

The dummies used their own cell phones and as usual with these dummies, their ad hoc methods left unexploded bombs with intact cell phones traceable to them. They are islamic jihadis. Whether they are red, or green islamic jihadis doesn't matter. Where ever allah is, there's a bomber.
These idiots claim their god demands all this. It's them. They are the same as muhamed. Just as he conjured up a gang of marauders with a con, to get back at the town that threw him out, so to all his followers from then 'till now. If there's no outsiders to clash wills with, they'll war amongst themselves. It's all about submission, not to god, but to the thug with the biggest sword, or bomb.

I think Islam no longer applies as a "religion", and so the constitution does not prevent its prohibition. This is not a law enforcement issue, and it is not just a "small, radical element" in islam. Spain has about 500,000 muslims and they cant even keep tabs on the community anymore. France has 5 million. France is doomed.
The laughable thing about it is that most French consider Israel their biggest security threat, and they hate jews and support arabs. How asleep can you be?

~"John F." Kerry~
on the threat of terrorism
"Well, God will -- look, I think -- I believe in God, but I don't believe, the way President Bush does, in invoking it all the time in that way. I think it is -- we pray that God is on our side, and we pray hard. And God has been on our side through most of our existence.

Doesn't this videotape confirm the Al Queda/Iraq linkage that the Democrats always say doesn't exist ? By tomorrow, Kerry and the talking heads will probably be accusing Karl Rove of disguising his voice and making this tape in a cheesy, pathetic attempt to show linkage and help Bush politically.
