WHERE IS THE MASS MEDIA? SOMETHING IS IN THE WORKS! FREEDOM IS COMING! This Chehar Shanbeh Suri and NoRooz (New Year) is going to be one that lives in History - SUPPORT ALL IRANIAN FREEDOM FIGHTERS - LONG LIVE A FREE IRAN and may THE IRANIAN PEOPLE FIGHT BRAVELY AND SUCCEED!
Ongoing Rebellion in Fereydunkenar! MOST RECENT PHOTOS FROM UPRISING:
The demonstrations began some hours ago. Fereydunkenar is a small town in the northern province of Mazandaran. The people attacked and were able to liberate a building used by the Islamic Republic's security forces (Sentry Post #2). They then started moving to the city of Babolsar, but were soon confronted by Mazandaran's provincial security forces. They've been pushed back into Fereydunkenar and the latest news I've heard is that the small town is now divided between the rebels and the security forces and the scene of fierce street battles.
At least 5 people have been killed and scores injured.
NOTE, THIS UPRISING IS STILL CONTINUING.

This is correct - we assess approximately army of 30 - 40 thousand arab vigilantes, possibly more... Hired from Palestine, etc.. These are the mofos who will likely get their asses whooped on if the true Iranian army and police switch sides... and the Iranian people will take it all out on them and the mullahs/ all clerics - even refomers maynot be safe..

I just emailed FNC with pictures from this thread asking why they weren't covering this, let alone just mention it.

Chahar Shanbe Suri is a celebration on the Tuesday before NoRooz (PERSIAN NEW YEAR)... All Iranian families get together at NIGHTTIME and they build fires - and the celebrate, dance - and jump over the fires they have built.. it's a lot of fun.. Anyhow - this will be interesting.. the regime hates any celebration of true persian culture because it intrinsically opposes the mullahs philosophy of repression and backwards Islam.. the regime is in for some trouble for sure.. lets hope!!!!

WOW,prayers for the freedom lovers.

That's a long way from Tehran. The thugs are perfectly capable of wiping this entire town out. I pray that they are safe.

Good for you! This news should be highlighted, right along with the terrorist hit in Spain.
To: McGavin999
Don't give up hope.. the Iranian people are brave and very strong willed people - they have throughout history withstood all attacks on their civilization and culture and they are still pure Iranians today.. They will fight any security forces to the death - and the cities accross the country will likely rise up... DOWN DOWN DOWN WITH THE MULLAHS!!!!
To: McGavin999

"ah-zAH-dee" with heavy emphasis on the 2nd syllable, and some aspiration transitioning to the "-di", yes?

How does one say "Freedom!" and "Democracy!" in Farsi? "Freedom!" is "Azadi!" In American phonetics it's (approx.) "ah-zaa-Dee." This flag shows how it is written (right to left).
"Democracy" I don't know. I have it in front of me, but I don't know much of the Farsi alphabet.

Hey Valin: - well, we all know it's not worth a damn... If this happens in bigger cities I'm sure it will hit the airwaves.. Anyhow - you will be able to track this on
RadioFarda.com of course after the fact, but they usually air everything.. or most stuff..

Ohh Ohh - Dear Freepers - You must know, Iranians across the country know what is going on much of the time thanks to technology via Satelite.. You see - Satelite stations in California get all the information coming out of Iran and then they beam it back in, so yes, they are informed.. but look at this damn article.. They are confiscating Satelite Dishes..
