What, exactly, is "intriguing" (never mind relevant) about the fact that they are not al-qaeda? Read through the rest of my posts on this thread. What's "intriguing" about it is that religion may have nothing to do with it. If religion has nothing to do with it, then this is basically a political war.
Which would also mean that anyone who has ever criticized President Bush for failing to identify Islam as the "enemy" in this war ought to stand up right now and offer the President a sincere, humble apology.

No, it could easily mean that the "Real" Islam is indeed violent, barbaric, and brutal, and that many Muslims either don't understand their own religion or simply don't follow it. That would not be unusual at all---in America, we call Christians who are like that, "Unitarians."

Well, I am not going to waste time explaining the difference to you between being killed for a political reason versus religious reasons. The distinction is irrelevant, and the fact that the sandmaggots keep telling us that this is a religious war is good enough for me and most other normal people.
