>>>Contrarian here,,THe ads did not do this, Kerry did it.

We may see it that way, but most American's aren't hearing about the real John Kerry. The Bush message got out for the first time this week and was disseminated mainly in battleground/tossup states. I think people are reacting to these initial Bush ads that correct the multiitude of misperceptions built up by the librat primary campaign. The media conglomerate of ABCNNBCBSMSNBC isn't telling the true facts about John Kerry's politics. Outside of a few supporters of Bush`s in the media and of course the numerous pro-Bush internet news websites, just how have the people been shown the real John Kerry? Fox News deserves some credit, but not all of America is watching Your World, Special Report, The Factor and Hannity and Colmes. $10 million in Bush campaign ads made a big difference. It's important for the Bush campaign to keep up the pressure. They'll get no help from Peter, Tom and Captain Dan.

I'm wondering if the "Kerry-was-a-member-of-a-veterans'-group-that-planned-to-assassinate-U.S. Senators" is the latest in a Clinton "kneecapping?"

Multiply what you've observed among your lib friends at work by about 3-4 million, and we start to see the magnitude of how 9/11 changed the political landscape.

This is the poll I've been waiting for. Now, I just need some confirmation from some of the other ones.

Even with the other polls, it's amazing Bush is still right there with Kerry. It's obvious that the media is covering for Kerry, but information will get through anyway. And when people actually know who Kerry is and anytime he opens his mouth he's going to be in further trouble.

Cheer up people.

Given the facts and circumstances of the day, it is just plain negative or delusional thinking that Kerry could beat Bush.

God bless the USA, and keep His watchful and protective hand on our leaders, soldiers and citizens.

I do not put it past the media polls to lie and spin in order to promote their leftist agenda.

I expect nothing except what you described. The media is mostly spin and lies. Heap ridicule on them, for the media is but a propaganda ministry.

A real eye-opener over the past couple months is that the "mainstream" media has thrown away all pretense of being objective.

I don't see the dems "forcing" Nader to do anything (unless they have his puppy)

He is a true idealogue and not interested in either party or power therein.

I for one, have been using the polls to send a message to the good President in hopes he will not take my vote for granted.

That is the kind of maneuver that got us Clinton in 1990 -- people sending "messages" to President Bush I. The only message you send is one of discouragement to our President and encouragement to his (and the nation's) enemies.

And you don't think the Democrats have some FBI files on him and files that the FBI doesn't even have?

A real eye-opener over the past couple months is that the "mainstream" media has thrown away all pretense of being objective.

I'll concede "eye opener," but the media has never been objective. And, I don't hold it to be so -- what irks me is their lie that they are objective, or that they have some obligation to be objective. They ought to all come out of the closet and "declare" they are advocates for a particular point of view, and leave it to the people to sort out. That's the "old way."

You sound like a Democrat.
Voting outside the two-party candidates is not "throwing your vote away".Maybe they just really don't like Kerry and what he stands for.If I was forced to chose between Nader and Gore back in 2000 the choice would be easy.

Let's face it.

Most of the mental pygmies that were polled during Kept Poodle Boy's televised primary wins actually thought he had won the presidency.
