The factionalizing (is that a word?) of Europe will only lead to one end. Human history is littered with the blood of Europe.

Britain will need to crack down hard on their resident terrorists. Heck, this may eventually lead to the cooperation of longtime enemies (i.e. England and Catholic Ireland) should the threat of Islam reveal itself in a tangible way in the U.K.

Zaropeta's inflammatory language isn't helping, either. If Europe becomes an "us" and "them" continent, the prospect of another war in Europe is not far-fetched....

AQ has infiltrated just about every country and island in the world. Right now there's a lot of talk about not being an isolationist nation, but that ignores the fact that we are ultimately going to have to be prepared to fight for our own survival, because it is evident nations we count on to support us in the War on Terror can turn on us in a heartbeat. If our allies are engaged in their own conflicts or the consequences of a terrorist act, we are sitting ducks for the terrorists unless we are fully prepared to defend ourselves (including on our own soil) to the nth degree in their absence.
