WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.
"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

I am not sure if this was posted yet, but here is a snip of testimony from CIA director George Tenet yesterday.
"Because as this thing fades, my fear is people are going to say, it's five years away, it's six. It's not. It's coming. They are still going to try and do it, and we need to sort of -- men and women here who have lost their families have to know that we've got to do a hell of a lot better."

I have a feeling that I will feel exactly the same way as you once I have viewed The Passion of the Christ.

LOL! I had a thing for red and chocolate licorice once. Well, I must say that I am relieved to hear that you have at least SOME recognizable food items in your fridge.

Fox News just had an alert saying that the FBI has put out a terrorism warning to refineries. Once again, we are way ahead of the lamestream media.

There are some handy instructions over at the FR Yahoo! group that will help you edit your local HOSTS file to add FR's IP address. There is a DNS problem and it is being worked on.
Be sure to change the file type to "All Files" and save the file as "hosts" with the quotes if doing a Save As, otherwise it will be saved as hosts.txt and the addition will not be 'seen'.

Subject: Create your own DNS entry to log on
To log on add the following line to your hosts file:
209.157.64.200 www.freerepublic.com
For me this file is located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc. I used WordPad to open and save. My hosts file now looks like: # For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost
209.157.64.200 www.freerepublic.com
After you save, www.freerepublic.com should work normally, at least until the IP address changes, in which case remove the entry or update it with the new address.
This in effect creates your own private DNS entry. This is needed to log on because of the way FR's login scripts are written. They don't work right with an http IP address.

For some reason their records say our domain is INACTIVE (expires
Sep 22, 2006.) We're looking into it, I will keep you posted.
