I know what you mean about the mumbo jumbo. Sometimes I try to read the "raw data" it's just to loosely translated for me. I can't make heads or tails of some of the posts there.

Isn't there some anti-dote to lichen?FairOpinion, I don't know. However they just found out that was what was killing the elk off.
Coming up on Greta Van Susteran: she stats that Al Queda says that America will pay for the assissination of Yassin.

Could these smugglers be the coyotes that bring the illegals across?Back before the holidays, it was Daleel or EOM (or some such wannabe keyboard terrorist) suggesting they were south of the border and coming north for their operation on US soil. Logically Coyotes could and probably very much are part of this sinister plot. I remember the ferries between Canada and Washington state also had lax security (don't know if it has improved and searches are now conducted of those "walking" onto ferries and their "backpacks and briefcases). Busses from Mexico or Canada are also undoubtedly a viable opportunity if security is lax or nonexistant.

I checked tonight after dinner in my area. Unfortunately it was too cloudy to see anything.
The crescent moon reference and the unique nature of the alignments sure sounds like something that AQ would consider though. Bears watching!

Yep it said no virus, but when I open scanned zip files, it pops up that I have trojan-downloader.rameh.a (file windows\system32\m3tsp8.dll) Then I use AVG, it detects it, says its cleaned it, but when I open a new file again, same thing ALL over again.
Anyone know how to get rid of this downloader worm? Can anyone ping someone who may know?

Most recently two released by Feds. But I'm sure those foreigners with Visa problems had a very good reason to be taking pictures of that refinery. They were on their vacation after all. Doesn't everyone on vacation take photos of refineries? If our feds believed them, it must be okay, right? Note to Self: The following terrorist instructions don't apply at refineries or nuclear power plants.
Training all group members in photography using digital cameras and video cameras. It is important that they place emphasis on covert use of the equipment, so as not to undermine the surveillance.
Shouldn't this be a warning that anyone selling cameras or video cameras to middle eastern men or women report it to Homeland Security just to be on the safe side? You never know what you may turn up with vigilance by all. Names and addresses could be relevant, especially if several noted in one area.

DJ US Ridge: Would Have To Take Any Hamas Threat Seriously
WASHINGTON (AP)--U.S. Homeland Security Tom Ridge said Monday Hamas was a terrorist organization and if it threatened the U.S. or "our interests, either abroad or domestically, we have to take the threat seriously."
Ridge made the comment in a meeting with reporters in Washington.
A statement from Hamas threatened retaliation against the U.S. after Israel killed Sheik Ahmed Yassin, the founder of the group.
"The Zionists didn't carry out their operation without getting the consent of the terrorist American administration and it (the United States) must take responsibility for this crime," Hamas said in a statement. "All the Muslims of the world will be honored to join in on the retaliation for this crime."
In the past, Hamas has refrained from targeting U.S. citizens or interests, instead focusing on fund-raising and recruitment within the U.S., according to senior U.S. law enforcement officials.
