WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.

"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

Is war a permanent fixture?
Do nations have that right?
They can undermine our international societal mixture.
Our destiny should traverse a new height!

Or is war ingrained?
It is something we frame.
Aren't we about drained?
Call it our institution of shame.

Generations of people have been outraged
Protesting against nations that can’t behave.
Those aggressive tendencies must be caged
Or civilized society will be stranded at the grave.

Testosterone is the primary reason men shave.
Aggression is something we can learn to stave.
It's time to take a stand.
After all, we are part of the same homogeneous band.

War, more and more, is predominantly staged.
Take it off the societal front page.
Our previous history has already been gauged.
Do we really want to be judged by the wars we wage?

War is something that should never be sought.
Our international society clamors for restraint.
Does anyone really believe war should be taught?
Personally, I don't have that urge to paint.

Ancient civilizations pioneered military service induction.
Were they a little deranged?
Knowledge eliminates the need for death and destruction.
On the evolutionary scale, we have changed.

It is "our attitudes toward war"
That has kept us fighting in more. 1

That particular state of mind
Must some how unravel and unwind.

For ten thousand years,
Soldiers have killed and died
Facing their battlefield peers.
Families on both sides cried.

Historically, society has used its ability for thought
To produce advanced weapon technology,
How hard a soldier has fought
Has been our societal chronology.

Ancient civilizations could not end their struggle.
We, on the other hand, have the means in place
For each nation to snuggle;
The United Nations must keep pace.

We cannot let ancient hate
Be our everlasting fate.
We can absolutely overcome
The war fervor hum,

Pre-civilized cultures killed.
Historically, that is a given.
For the most part, it was self-willed
And not city or state driven.

People then huddled together for warmth and protection
Building the first structures of a village.
That first assemblage and collection,
With out a doubt, resulted in pillage.

Someone piled the first stone
Resulting in a protective wall.
I can hear their voices moan
Attempting to make it tall.

Others didn't have enough gall
And watched the village fall.
The village was soon overrun.
Leading, eventually, to the development of a gun.


It couldn’t eliminate worldwide poverty or send every child to school.
I say put it to bed

And give our movement a chance.
Let us try and improve the impoverished circumstance.
Our mission is to eliminate tyrants. So get out of the way you fools.
We are trying to give every one the same economic, political, and social opportunity. Help us manufacture a few billion stools!

I told anyone who would listen,
But most Americans’ ears were blocked.
They all thought that I had a screw missin’.

regime change operations, bowing to pressure to reduce spending and achieve results.

Consultants point out that the recent effort that culminated in overthrow of the conservative Spanish government, cost a tiny fraction of US expenditures in Afghanistan and Iraq, and will maximize ROI for those who have a stake in getting the US out of Iraq.

"Private enterprise is the American way," says Pentagon advisor Knee O'Conn. "Government operations are always wasteful and expensive, he added. "We are already using private firms to train the Iraqi army, why not outsource the whole operation?"

President Bush responded warmly to the idea. "This is just the sort of thing I've been talking about. Private industry and know-how can get things done. They don't get bogged down in regulations and partisan politics and bureaucracy. And best of all, this is isn't just private industry. It's a combination of private enterprise and my other favorite program, faith-based initiative. This is certainly a shining example of how faith and private enterprise can transform the world."

According to a report by a leading industry analysis group, outsourcing of regime change is likely to be a major growth industry in coming years. Spending on regime change may reach $100 billion by 2010, represent an annual turnover of up to 20 regimes. COGS (Cost of Goods) per unit is is well under $1 million, representing a huge profit potential. Even with these huge profit margins, taxpayers would be getting a bargain at $5 billion per regime, considering the price tag of government sponsored regime change efforts in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Iraq, which are far in excess of $100 billion. The enabling technologies are new wireless protocols, detonators and explosives that ensure save and easy remote detonation. Demand is expected to increase as unit prices fall.

This has gotten to be an every day word. It has truly lost its real meaning.

I do it differently. I put a book mark on the tool bar of Mozilla. Every time I leave off I copy the link to the last reply into the bookmark properties. So when I come back all I have to do is click on the link in the tool bar and wah laah..I am right where I left off without even having to go into the main forum or "My Coments". You could do the same thing with a "Favorite" in IE. But you could not put it on the tool bar. It would not be as convieniant.

Last week or the week before one of the cable news shows had an interview of an upset Palestinian family. They were highly pissed that the terrorist had tried to use their son as a suicide bomber. The mother was in tears and said if those people want to blow someone up then they should blow themselves up instead of making someone else's children do it.

I came home and read everyone's post. Then went and took a nice long bath and I had the most horrendous thought. So I have a question.

What is the last day that hitlary could jump into this election? I can just see her saving America and the emotional trauma and anger. We could be Spain all over again. That could be our next date to watch.

I never dreamed what would happen in Spain happened. I will never trust Russia or China.

My husband and I sit here daily in disbelief of the things going on. The news media has been shut down. Last weekend in Knoxville, Tn. 6 convenience stores were closed by Homeland Security. All the owners and employees were arrested. All were of Iranian and Yemen dissent, but Homeland Security DIDNT THINK THEY HAD TERRIST TIES! They were arrested for moving money out of the USA(this was on the 11:00 news WATE 6 I could never find anything in print so I hesitate to post something I cannot back up).

O.K. I feel better now. But I really think we are in for more than we have any idea.
