Howard Dean worried me a bit, but John Kerry has a past that is "Target Rich", even his recent voting record resembles a Ship a drift without a Compass. IMHO, the simple fact is that John Kerry doesn't possess the things one needs to be a serious candidate for the Office of the POTUS

"While I stated that my initial inclination was to support the President, I pointed out that two essential tests had to be met in determining whether or not the U.S. action was appropriate. First, the United States had to have irrefutable evidence directly linking the Gadhafi regime to a terrorist act and, second, our response should be proportional to that act."
In other words, He doubted the evidence against Gadhafi, and he considered Ronald Reagan's response as over the top.
John Kerry recently said that if he was president, he would have been ready to send troops into Haiti to protect the corrupt de-facto Dictator, Aristide, but would have waited for the blessings of the U.N. before removing a murderous tyrant like Saddam Hussein who has been flipping us the bird for 12 years. These are the thoughts of a man who is lacking the basic principles of what we have stood for. Like it or not, we are the defender of freedom and I think that is a label that all of us can be proud of. Throughout our history we have been freedom's defender and we have managed to become the most powerful nation on Earth while doing so, This leads me to the words President Bush so eloquently spoke in his Sept. 20th address to Congress shortly after 9/11.
"After all that has just passed -- all the lives taken, and all the possibilities and hopes that died with them -- it is natural to wonder if America's future is one of fear. Some speak of an age of terror. I know there are struggles ahead, and dangers to face. But this country will define our times, not be defined by them.
