Very interesting thoughts . . . we'll just have to wait and see, I guess . . . it's so scary to think of what would happen to our country and world if Kerry or God forbid Hillary would win . . . but it is reassuring to know that GOD is in charge and nothing will happen without it being His will . . .

- John Kerry will survive the scrutiny and will be the nominee for the Democrats,
- George W. Bush will win in a landslide
Probably. Though I wouldn't rule out Hitlary making a move, either something really outrageous, to get the top seat, or, by various schemes, forcing Kerry to take her on the second seat.
You are quite right about the low 'Rat turnout, and their luke warm enthusaism for Kerry, even now.
And Bush had damn well better win. I'd like my kid to know Freedom from something other than a history book.

What was the Republican turnout for our uncontested primary?
I never saw one news report that there was a Republican primary and what the vote was.

Being a political junkie and all :-), I have watched several elections and the process that leads up to the party's Conventions and so far, John Kerry is the lamest candidate I have ever seen in my life. He has been on the extreme left of his party all his career and now he thinks he can claim he is a centrist. It's not gonna happen, no more than Pat Buchanan would ever have a chance of becoming the President.
John Kerry will see his career come back to haunt him and all the spin and lies the DNC is noted for will not be able to help him. John Kerry is no leader, nor has he ever shown an ounce of leadership in his entire life. In the brief times he was in the spotlight during his public life, he has consistantly been on the wrong side of history and on Novemeber 2nd, 2004 he will once again be on the wrong side of it.
