I think most people figured out it was me. I had several people ask me and I didn't see any reason to lie. It was perfectly "legal" as far as the college is concerned. Most people know that I wear my cowboy Bush button every day and carry around my Top 10 reasons to re-elect Bush tote bag plus I write the same kind of things all over my notebooks that I wrote on the sidewalk. So it was fairly obvious.

Alcohol is prohibited on our campus too, even if you're 21 or older. (I won't be 21 until August.) The last time I had alcohol was the millenium New Year's Eve. My best friend and I each had a glass of champagne. (I, of course, had to call my mom first and get permission.) As far as skipping classes, I don't do that because I have such a horrible immune system that I'm guaranteed to get sick at least three times per semester. And that's not including my consistent health problems like allergies and migraines. So needless to say, I don't actually "skip" classes but I do miss them.

OK, I may be "innocent", but I'm not quite that naive. :-)

(although for a long time I believed my dad wrote scripts for "The Love Boat". He could always predict the ending, and told us it was because "I wrote the show!" He was always right so . . . I believed him!)

John Kerry will survive the scrutiny and will be the nominee for the Democrats, They will line up behind him and defend him to the end. But this country has a choice to make and if you look at the Polls closely, you will see that their is no real enthusiasm for John Kerry. Despite what the Dems claim, this Primary season has been one of the lowest turnouts in history, only 60% of the registered Dems are committed to Kerry, and 52% of the Dems think George W. Bush will get reelected. Compared to 91% of Republicans who say they are committed to President Bush and will vote for him.

The Media will play this up as a close race and the polls will be close right up until the last week in October, George W. Bush will win in a landslide and in the last week before the election, the mainstream media will speak of a sudden drop in support for Kerry and justify their claims of as close race and spend three or four months trying explain the phenomena of how John Kerry got hammered

I want to thank other members of my administration who are here for this very important occasion to end what has been a very important dialogue. Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz is with us; Andrew Natsios, who runs USAID; Paula Dobriansky, of the Department of State. I want to thank you for going to Afghanistan recently with Joyce Rumsfeld, Secretary Rumsfeld's better half, who also went to Afghanistan recently to spread the word that America will stay the course; that when we say something we mean it and that we say we're going to -- (applause.)

I just named a distinguished American to be a U.S. delegate to the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women, my sister, Dorothy. Thank you for being here, Doro. (Applause.) And I took the recommendation of Vice President Cheney for another member of the same delegation. He suggested that America would be well served by his eldest daughter, Liz. And he's right. Good to see you, Liz. (Applause.)

I want to thank Rend Al-Rahim, who is with us today. Rend, thank you for coming. She's the senior Iraqi representative to the United States. That is a forerunner to ambassadorial status, I guess. Certainly I'm not speaking for what is going to be the sovereign government of Iraq. She's good at what she does, I'm telling you. (Applause.)

There's a lot of ambassadors who are here. I want to thank you all for coming. It's good to see you. I appreciate you taking time to be here. This is an important conference. The message of the United States, about freedom and liberty in the Middle East, is a serious message. And I thank the governments for being here to listen and to help us advance this vital cause for what's good for the world. And so thanks for coming. There's a lot of countries represented here, particularly Middle Eastern countries.

As I told you, Joyce went to -- and Paula went to Afghanistan. There are other members of the U.S. Afghan Women's Council that went to Kabul. I want to thank you all for going. I hear it's -- one of the travelers, Karen Hughes, reported back, and Margaret did, as well -- Margaret Spellings, who is my Domestic Policy Advisor. They said it's unbelievable what's taking place there. The country is transitioning from despair to hope. And it's easy to see now. It's changing, and changing for the better. The people of Afghanistan have just got to know that we'll stand with them for however long it takes to be free.

I appreciate the Iraqi women who attended the Commission on the Status of Women in New York this week. I want to thank you all for coming. I appreciate you being here.

I want to thank my friend, Dr. Raja Khuzai, who's with us today. This is the third time we have met. The first time we met, she walked into the Oval Office -- let's see, was it the first time? It was the first time. The door opened up. She said, "My liberator," and burst out in tears -- (laughter) -- and so did I. (Applause.)

Dr. Khuzai also was there to have Thanksgiving dinner with our troops. And it turned out to be me, as well. Of course, I didn't tell her I was coming. (Laughter.) But I appreciate that, and now she's here again. I want to thank you, Doctor, for your hard work on the writing of the basic law for your people. You have stood fast, you have stood strong. Like me, you've got liberty etched in your heart, and you're not going to yield. And you are doing a great job and we're proud to have you back. Thanks for coming. (Applause.)

I believe so far, the average turnout for the Dem Primaries in 26 or so States is around 13% of Registered Dems. That's Pathetic, The best news for us was New York's turnout.... only 6%

Let's see ... 60 days before the General Election would be early September. The 'Rat convention is held in late July, and the Republican in late August. The states can't print ballots before the Republican convention, but they probably can't wait much past it, either.

For the 'Rats to select Kerry in their convention, then pull a switcheroo, wouldn't they want to do it before the big states printed ballots. Anyone know what sort of procedures states use to determine the Convention winners and learn whom to put on ballots. I'd imagine that there are state filing deadlines, and that representatives of registered parties in each state have to deliver the chosen names to some official of the state, by some deadline.

Once delivered, then it would take a corrupt state government, such as we had in New Jersey, to change who was running for electors in that state. I don't think the 'Rats have enough corrupt control of a majority of states to have any hope of pulling that off.

So this means they would have to pull the switcheroo pretty close to late August, early September, to beat the various state deadlines.

Still seems that such a move, unless done in a way that arroused the sympathies of the average non-political 'moderate' would cost them enough votes to doom their chances.

I don't think they can pull off a post convention switch. I think it has to happen before the convention, so that they can use the convention to get the party workers behind the chosen one. Also, before the convention, it's only the 'Rat party that has to be corrupt, not 50 states.
