The liberals always have viewed the American economy through big businesses and the Unions. They still acts as if the losses in manufacturing is new thing.
The backbone of the is economy is small business and sole proprietorships and those jobs are not accurately represented in the payroll surveys.

Yeah. Anyone whose been paying attention knows that manufacturing has been shedding jobs since the early 90's.
