Kerry Lied In Press Conference Where He Refused To Apologize For Calling Republicans Liars

The media, led by sycophants like Chris Matthews, were extolling Kerry's "Band of Brothers" who accompany him on every campaign stop. Matthews went so far as to say, "Where is Bush's "Band of Brothers?" as part of his attack on GWB's National Guard service. What I want to see the media cover is Kerry's VVAW "Band of Brothers" and other guys like Hubbard.

I bet a thorough examination of the creeps who led the VVAW during Kerry's participation in the organization would raise quite a few eyebrows to say the least. Moreover, the VVAW is still active and still radical today.

There is no record that Hubbard ever went to Vietnam

It's hard for me to believe that Kerry had no idea that Hubbard was fabricating his time in Vietnam. To say Kerry was unaware is tantamount to saying Kerry is abnormally slow-witted.

Don't servicemen talk over their experiences? Shouldn't Kerry have picked up on Hubbard's lies about his experiences?

Sure he would be correct by accident but something should explain republican left wing politics.. The republican senate is trying to pass legislation to make LOWERING TAXES a two thirds majority rule.. something should explain that.. republicans shilling for in your face socialism as some elite deep stragegy is BULL... These days you need hip waders wadeing thru this BULL stuff.. boots will overflow..

So this period in time was VERY MUCH on his mind.

Kerry knows he is very vulnerable when it comes to his antiwar activities and associations. Throughout his political career, Kerry has developed a craven but effective defense. First, he touts his own war record including using surrogates (read props) and second, he takes the offensive on his antiwar activities stating that he wanted to end the war and save lives. His own website brags about his testimony before Congress and his "courageous" activities to end Nixon's war.

Whenever someone starts questioning him on either his war record or his post war activities, Kerry cloaks himself as a war hero and responds with feigned indignation about anyone having the nerve to question his patriotism, especially those who have never served. It has been quite effective up to now. Hopefully, we will not shy away from a close examination of Kerry anti-American activities in 1970-1.

I am sure Kerry knew Hubbard was a fraud. But Hubbard was Kerry's MENTOR. Hubbard made Kerry the Natinal Director Of the VVAW. Kerr was thereby the ONLY leader of the VVAW who was not ELECTED.

Maybe Kerry ignored Hubbard's shady record until he thought he could take the organization away from him. Hence the showdown. When that didn't work, maybe Kerry quit. Who knows?

Many (if not most) of the VVAW leadership were liars and frauds. Most of the lies they told at the Winter Soldier Investigation were laughable. (Eating livers, for instance.)

It didnt' bother Kerry one bit. He USED them to get public notice and attention, so that he could run for office. The vehicle didn't matter.
