Ya' know, this "Band of Brothers" of Kerry's vouching for him reminds me of Hitler's "Old Party Comrades" (alte Parteigenossen) who were with him during the 1923 Putsch. How many of them, during his rise to power, talked about the way Hitler ran and hid when the police opened fire on their march (while Ludendorff remained erect and walked right into the police lines)? And, yet that's what was later established to have happened.
