After having been investigated by the F.B.I. for allegedly spying on behalf of Israel, Ritter was now set to accept money from a well-heeled Iraqi with influential friends in Baghdad. Most people seemed to think that this June 2001 incident was what turned Ritter, however it happened after Ritter was turned and the "case" was dismissed and the record "sealed".

Somebody got to Ritter after he resigned in 1998 and long before his June 2001 incident that now appears to have never happened!

Ritter talking about "religious extremists" sounds just like Hillry and the liberals in their attempt to protect Saddam.
