Some pics over at Yahoo News Photos of the events leading up to the impeachment vote.

South Korean lawmakers from the Uri Party (without coats), who back President Roh Moo-hyun, scuffle with lawmakers from opposition parties (in jackets) as the latter attempt to occupy the seat of the speaker at parliament in Seoul, March 12, 2004. Opposition parliamentarians sought unsuccessfully to storm the occupied speaker's podium early Friday to try to ensure they could hold an unprecedented vote on impeaching South Korean President Roh, local media said. Protesters surround a South Korean man after a self-immolation attempt during a rally supporting President Roh Moo-hyun in front of parliament March 11, 2004. Some 1,000 protesters were holding a rally supporting Roh who declined on Thursday to apologize for election campaign remarks that prompted his opponents to try to impeach him. The man survived, witnesses said. REUTERS/You Sung-Ho

Was there a quantum shift in the universe that I missed?

These people seem very passionate about their government and are firing the chief executive for rigging the election and being incompetent!

Where is the oral sex? He hasnt used his countries military to attack another country to coverup for any kind of sexual perversion??!??

I really didnt know that they cared that much.

What's with these peninsular and islandic parliaments of the Far East? I've seen similar photos from Japan.

Crazy.

There's something about that democracy idea, and its protocol, that didn't quite fully take root.

Is that the way Bruce Lee really fights? Where are the nunchucks and star knives? I don't see anyone doing triple backflips either. You sure your pictures aren't from Italy or Mexico?

This may be good news. Once rational South Koreans started doing protests in favor of
the USA, there were a LOT more than 1,000 folks in the streets of Seoul.

Hmmm...Saddam, then Khaddafi, then Aristede, now Roh...
which other peckerwood is gonna be neutered next?
