Imagine sending your teenaged daughter off to school and find out by the end of the day that she had died in surgery that others decided was NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Of course, if the girl has a 24-year-old boyfriend and they didn't know she was six months pregnant, perhaps they didn't care about their daughter as much as they should have. They were probably in denial and this is a very sad wake-up call for them.

I don't about the family, but not all women/girls look pregnant, even when the pregnancy is far advanced. I had a student in one of my classes last Spring (college, so we're not talking underage girls here) whom is in my class again this Spring. Anyway, I just found out that she had a baby last April, 2/3's of the way thru the semester. Now, I've had 4 kids myself, so I know first hand what a pregnant woman looks like, but I had NO idea that this young woman was pregnant, never mind that she had a baby during the semester!!

That being said, I really, really hope that the "father" gets jailed for statutory rape. I can never understand all these young girls having babies, of worse, abortions, and no one files rape charges. Not only did this man commit the crime of rape, he is an accomplish in murder!!
