Kerry has ran for office only in MA and in Dem Primaries. He's never had to appeal to voters as conservative as are swing voters in a U.S. general election. Moreover, he has never had to face any serious opposition from true conservatives. Gov. William Weld gave him a tough fight, but as a RINO. This is all new to Kerry. He thinks it is out of bounds to question him so, and he adopts the victim role, "How Dare They..." etc. This will not wear well over 8 months.
