[history]
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners has completed replacing a 12-mile section of its aging Tucson-to-Phoenix gasoline pipeline and is moving forward with plans to replace an additional 72 miles within two years.
When completed, the $180 million expansion and upgrade of the pipeline from El Paso to Phoenix will bring an additional 44,000 barrels, or 1.68 million gallons, of gasoline per day into metropolitan Phoenix.

Capacity on the line is now 60,000 barrels per day. It also will enable the state to tap into to lower-priced gasoline from the Gulf Coast states.
Note to the author: In case you didn't know, the name of the state is ARIZONA, not Phoenix. The pipeline will allow Phoenix to tap into to lower-priced gasoline from the Gulf Coast states. The people of southeastern Arizona who are constantly disenfranchised by people like you already have access to the gasoline from out of state. We just don't have the lower-price. If your governor (not ours) would get off her butt, she could do something about the price-gouging going on down here, but since our high prices don't affect the real residents of the state, she could care less.

why do you call her "our" governor and not yours? I sure as heck didn't vote for her. Many of the Phoenix area votes were against her.

btw, the governor honestly could care less about ANYBODY in our state. she claimed to be a leader for all of Arizona, but doesn't listen to anyone unless you financed her campaign. I still keep wondering how far she has to go before recall becomes a shout, rather a whisper throughout the state.

Look again. I was directing my comments to the author of the article, not the people of Phoenix.
