And the link to the National Review story you posted:

Kojo & Kofi
Unbelievable U.N. stories.

http://www.nationalreview.com/comment/rosett200403101819.asp

"That's fascinating, not least given the ties of Annan's own son, Kojo Annan, to the Switzerland-based firm, Cotecna, which from 1999 onward worked on contract for the U.N. monitoring the shipments of Oil-for-food supplies into Iraq. These were the same supplies sent in under terms of those tens of billions of dollars worth of U.N.-approved contracts in which the U.N. says it failed to notice Saddam Hussein's widespread arrangements to overpay contractors who then shipped overpriced goods to the impoverished people of Iraq and kicked back part of their profits to Saddam's regime. "

NO wonder all of these people were trying to keep Saddam in power - he was their golden goose, and what did they care, if Saddam may nuke the US or Israel, or send us anthrax, or destabilize the entire Middle East, just as long as they kept their bribes coming!

The French banks made GROSS AMOUNTS of profit from all those Iraqi oil bank accounts. Chiraq's son is involved somehow!

And no wonder Iraq didn't really need WMD, even if they originally had them. Perhaps they really destroyed them, or perhaps they sold them to Syria, or perhaps they just buried them real deep, but they didn't deed them.<p.All they needed was a bunch of suckers willing to pay them for not making them. Sort of like farmers.
