I do believe the Libs will keep this bankrolled until November, even though few will be listening. After that it will be toast, regardless of who wins.
Conservative talk radio succeeds, in part, because it offers a welcome contrast to the virtual Liberal stranglehood on the vast majority of the rest of the media.
To: truthandlife
Liberal Radio will be funded by George Soros. It won't be financially viable (i.e., won't turn a profit), but that's not its purpose.
It's sole purpose is to get around the CFR restrictions and get more anti-Bush, pro-Kerry propaganda on the air.
It will fold after the November election.
IMHO,

"We're going to put it to Bush," Franken told reporters on Wednesday. "Bush is going down in November." I guess every now and then he can tell a funny joke, after all!

"Do you realize that the employment rate is exactly what it was in 1996 when Clinton was running for reelection? Did we have a rotten economy then?" - Rush
Ah yes, but Clinton wasn't an evil republican. I'm shocked, shocked, to find that there is such a liberal bias in the media, I tell you.
To: truthandlife
The people who are going to listen to this weren't planning on voting for Bush anyway.

Franken needs to share his drugs with the rest of us.
They may get a couple million liberals to listen to their stupid network, but so what? Are these people going to extra vote the same freaking way they were going to anyways?
This boy has some serious delusions of grandeur.

Franken et al are not creative enough to do fresh material every day. In 90 days they will have run out of new things to say and then they will be the joke.

My take on this is that it will fail for one simple reason:
Rush and Hannity (and other conservative hosts) have a lot of liberal listeners who tune in just to get themselves in a hackle or maybe they view it as spying or whatever.
I don't see many conservatives pouring over to Franken instead of Rush and the kool-aid crowd will soon tire of their own "pundits".
Plus, have you seen the line-up?

A veritible who's who of barf-bags. I give a month before their incessant whining turns-off even the faithful.

Billing itself as "Air America," the network will begin airing the Democratic party line on March 31, hitting the airwaves on New York's WLIB, KBLA in Los Angeles and WNTD in Chicago.Shouldn't it be billed as "Err America"?
To: truthandlife
"We're going to put it to Bush," Franken told reporters on Wednesday. "Bush is going down in November." With this stated goal -- would any and all air time be considered an in-kind contribution to the Kerry campaign by the FEC?
