Humorous? Funnyman?
The adjectives should be "moron" and "dope". Franken is as funny as a hemorroid, which describes the condition that attaches itself to the person in question.
Franken the spokesman for the Rat's? Bring it On! Hemorroids and all.
We can tell where it's coming from.
Blessings, Bobo

It will be interesting to see how long into his first call from a conservative who knows how to reason with facts before Franken goes ballistic and starts throwing "F" bombs. "Calling FCC, FCC on line one".
One characteristic that has put Limbaugh where he is is his ability to dismantle liberal callers' arguments without resorting to profanity or personal attack. When it's time to slip the blade in it's usually done with a smile and a chuckle. This guy is anything but stable and his whole schtick is personal attack.

Air America Radio, a progressive talk radio network, announced today it will hit the airwaves on March 31st. "Air America Radio is launching in the top U.S. markets with leading talent that will provide compelling and entertaining programming on the radio, on satellite feeds, and on the web," said Mark Walsh, Chief Executive Officer of Air America Radio. We aim to build an important new media franchise that delivers results. The networks on-air personalities represent todays top political and popular satirists, commentators and activists. Comedian, and best selling author Al Franken, who was recently taken to court when Bill OReilly and Fox News were seeking an injunction to halt distribution of "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right," and is known for fact-based, drug-free satire, will host a weekday show on the network called The OFranken Factor.
Im so happy that Air America Radio will be on in three battleground states, New York, Illinois and California
.no wait
those arent battleground states. What the hell are we doing? said Franken.
Air America Radio has signed actress and comedienne Janeane Garofalo, hip hop icon Chuck D, radio personality Randi Rhodes, and political humorist Sam Seder to join Franken at the network. Environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., The Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead, and business-of-the-media analyst on the public radio program Marketplace Martin Kaplan will also join the network.
Sounds like a whole lotta fun.... /sarcasm>

"We're going to put it to Bush," Franken told reporters on Wednesday. "Bush is going down in November." Note to Al: You'll have to attract listeners outside of the democRAT party hardcore to even consider accomplishing this.

They've got FOUR STATIONS. Of those, only the one in New York will have a signal that you can get without stringing tinfoil from your roof. The United Auto Workers recently PULLED THE PLUG on THEIR liberal talk network after six years, primarily because they could not get any decent affiliate stations.

Koreans have little to do with the liberals as most Koreans are intelligent, hardworking, and promote values that liberals want to destroy.

Go Al Franken!
Imagine Democrat Underground on the airwaves??? The wit and wisdom of James Carville, Terry McAuliffe, Michael Moore and Bill Maher- in prime time comedic format?
And public radio! Man o man, those "little people" stamping out widgets on the factory floor, pressing shirts on steamers, and writing their PhD theses on Oppressive US Policies Against Gay and Transgendered 3rd World Peasants -they are all gonna LOVE this show- it will make the work day go by so much faster. It is way past time for the American public to enjoy on the radio, during their work day, a real educational exposure to the GOP's loyal opposition party.
President Bush could not PAY for the beneficial effect he's going to enjoy from public backlash to this blind hatred, exposed.
Giddyup.

With this stated goal -- would any and all air time be considered an in-kind contribution to the Kerry campaign by the FEC? And don't forget the statement of being 'funded by Democrats.'

Republican-hating humorist Al Franken promised yesterday that he'll be bashing President Bush relentlessly when the liberal radio network he's headlining gets underway at the end of this month. "We're going to put it to Bush," Franken told reporters on Wednesday. "Bush is going down in November." After his radio network - bankrolled by Democratic Party fat cats - supposedly drives Bush from power, the frothing-at-the-mouth funnyman said he plans to "put it to the right-wing media." In a dig at his nemesis Bill O'Reilly, Franken said he was calling his show "The O'Franken Factor" and promised, "We're going to be baiting him as much as we can."Hate hate hate. It's what animates these sickos.

Franken needs to stop watching The Sopranos.
"take him out"?
"take him down"?
"put it to him"?
"he's going down"?
I can't decide if he has "Good Fella" envy or homoerotic repression.

How is Franken going to handle seminar callers? Yikes that'll be ugly.
To: uncitizen; All
Since it seems to be the case that LIBERALS, and DEMOCRATS are not 'open-minded' , and believe that their 'view' is the only correct one that should be allowed in the US, they won't really take time to listen to Franken or anyone else.
This LIB RADIO will be broadcasting to an 'empty house'.

To: UCANSEE2
Well then, more time for seminar callers. Which means Franken is going to go ballistic and be pulled off the air even sooner than the 182 days i estimated.

Bush will go down in November...down from his hotel room to the main conference room floor to deliver his victory speech.
