Thanks for the ping! This is real horror. I clicked on one of the newspapers from a link on the thread; that paper seemed to say that they really think it was the Basque separatists. (Not that terrorists don't cooperate with one another--so al quaeda probably IS involved.)

Geez, on Fox News' "Greta" right now, the reporter in Spain is reminding us that this terror attack happened on 3-11. Spaniards are already referring to it as their "11-3" (Day first, month second). Madrid's fairgrounds are being used as a morgue. It all sounds so sadly familiar...
