"He was a great employee, but just in this economic situation we didn't have the volume in that territory to warrant a manager in that territory," Girton said. He said Gardner did not accept an offer to work as an independent contractor.
He is lying and he knows it. The economic situation warranted a manager in that territory until he old the truth about kerry. My money says that he was never offered a chance to work as an independent contractor.
I believe that girton is a democrat and got a call from either the kerry campaign or mcauffle to fire the man.

Here's what I want to know. Gardner gets hit, there's blood all over the gun tub, nobody knows how bad he'd been hit, they back out of the canal and split. They patch Gardner up and he's ok, this time.
Did Gardner get a Purple Heart for his wounds?? Did Kerry put him in for one? How many other guys on Kerry's boats were decorated? In 4 months, was Kerry the only other guy on the boats that was hit with shrapnel and wounded? How many other crew members were wounded and decorated on Kerry's boats?
The way I remember it back then, if you got dinged and wanted a ribbon, you filled out a form and put yourself in for your prize. Most guys didn't. If you really got shot up, the CO or Sarge might put you in for a Heart, but you could do it yourself if you wanted to. Who put Kerry in for his Hearts? Did he write himself up????
Inquiring old minds sure want to know!

Good for you...glad to hear his boat crew speaking out....
Now about that Silver Star....and the officer who had to have written it up and approved it
Kerry couldnt have gotten as far as he did with his lie filled career without a little help from his friends...
Scumbags....all.....
I feel sorry for any sailor who had the misfortune of having to serve under this Papa Oscar Sierra
Good men tarred with the same brush just because of their 'bad luck' of having John Forbes Kerry for a skipper....

My guess would be that the person who put on kerry's pants each morning is who wrote all his citations.
I gurantee you that if I was a bigwig in President Bush's re-election campaign, I would already be heading to where Garner lives.
He would make a great kerry deliar.

My question is, why are the 9 others so enthusiastic about Kerry? Or are they?

. . .has his appearance on Larry King been announced yet; his interview with Katie? Surely an appearance on 'Night Line' and C-span is being arranged.

Follow the money. Just looked up the company. I haven't had much time to do a thorough search, and some folks here are much more competent about finding political affiliations than I am, but here's a link to a story on their website:

Open Secrets shows John Pietrzak, president of Millennium Information Services, gave $500 to Carol Moseley-Braun in 1997,with earlier amounts to Tom Harkin and Dan Rostenkowski. No money to Republicans. He is obviously a liberal democrat.
