Did you know? Today in 1888, a blizzard started to roar along the Atlantic seaboard of the U.S., shutting down communication and transportation lines. The snow continued to fall for three days in the “Great Blizzard of 1888.”

I wanna be a psychological counselor. I'm leaning towards children's counseling. The religion major was meant as sort of a mind-opener so that I understand where other people are coming from. I'd like to have a private practice. (We'll see how that works out.) And I will be going to grad school because, of course, you can do absolutely nothing with a B.A. in psychology.

There is a great need for counselors who can do Bible based counseling. They need to be trained counselors and understand the Bible too. Such counseling is very effective. Pulled me back when I had a bad spell of panic attacks.

**And I will be going to grad school because, of course, you can do absolutely nothing with a B.A. in psychology. **

Hmmm. I don't know if I agree with that. :o) My husband has his degree in Physiological Psychology. For many years he worked in Logistics Management, dealing heavily with union thugs/mgmt. Now he manages a recycling plant for Weyerhaeuser. Psychology needed in those fields? You betcha. I could go into detail if you've got a few hours. Not enough for ya? Consider this: I have in-home therapy. lol.

Initially he was going for a mechanical engineering degree but found that the study time was horning in on his skiing time. (He was a ski instructor through college) But hey, his sophmore year he got 79 days of good runs in. lol. So anyway, he changed his major to something um..er..easy..in order to continue his true love: skiing.

After he graduated he went into the Navy...OCS in Pensacola. Naval Aviator. Then on to Logistics Mgmt.

I've rambled enough.

Oh..here's one for ya. My major was Fine Arts/Interpretive Dance. Oh yeah...lots you can do with *that* one. lol. I was in Marketing then catering before homeschooling my daughter. ho hum. :o)

That's what I'm hoping my patients will say one day. But, for now, I'm gonna fall asleep in class if I don't go to bed now. Nighty night :)

Good new (sorta) about my brother, Robert...
The "growth" at the base of his spine is a Pilonidal Cyst..
it is a bad one, and will require surgery after the infection clears, but it is not cancer, or anything like that! Thank you, God!
He's uncomfortable, and unhappy, but he will be well!
Thank you all for your prayers for him..he and I are both very grateful!

This is awesome -
Thread Title: "Hillary's Secret War: [New book] Foreword by Jim Robinson"
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1094222/posts?page=1
--- The book is available on Amazon.com for pre-order; publication date is April 21st.

"HILLARY'S SECRET WAR by Richard Poe is the first book I've read that really pulls together the story of the Internet underground during the Clinton years. I was thrilled to read it. This story has never been told before, and I'm proud to say that I was part of it, in my own small way. ...

"Most people in America had no idea it was going on.

"They didn't know what kinds of pressures and harassment people faced when they tried to speak out and tell the truth about Clinton corruption. Even many of us who were directly involved in the dissident media didn't always have the perspective to fit the pieces together: the threats and intimidation, the IRS audits, burglaries, lawsuits, surveillance, infiltration, the smear campaigns, false arrests, journalists getting knocked upside the head in hotels, even a lot of folks mysteriously ending up dead." (JimRob)

And from the page at Amazon.com:
Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Hillary's Secret War is the true story of how a group of renegade journalists fought to expose America’s darkest scandals through the Internet—and how the most powerful woman in the world tried to stop them.

From her own “war room” in the White House, Hillary Clinton commanded a secret police operation dedicated to silencing dissent, muzzling media critics, intimidating political foes, whitewashing Clinton scandals, and obstructing justice. Hillary's operatives infiltrated every level of the news media, federal law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and the federal court system.

They looked upon the “unregulated” datastream of cyberspace as a threat to their power, potentially devastating in its ability to bypass the controlled, corporate media. For that reason, Hillary's secret police persecuted Internet dissidents with special ferocity.

Mainstream news media spiked the story of Hillary’s secret war—and of the scandals she sought to conceal. But the courageous new journalists of the Internet underground defied the odds and exposed the shocking truth about history’s most corrupt presidency. This is their story.

Written with all the drama and tension of a gripping novel, this carefully researched book gives the inside story of how these modern-day patriots endured Hillary’s attacks, and emerged from the battlefield to become a sprawling, innovative news source reaching tens of millions each day. Hillary’s Secret War presents a tale of dogged courage and sacrifice, one of the greatest untold stories in the annals of journalism.

“Hillary’s Shadow Team,” says Poe, “will no doubt play a crucial role in smoothing the way for her planned return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Likewise, the Internet will figure prominently in the effort to stop her.”

Oh, but you will. You may not know why you are taking those courses, but God does. You cannot imagine what He has in store for you sweetie. My B.A. was in Sociology/Religion with a minor in Communications. All that has been invaluable.

Howdy Ms.B!

No prime rib tonight. I had leftover potato skins for dinner. It wasn't great, but I didn't have to cook, so it gets extra credit for that alone!

I've been chasing my daughter's kitten around the house most of the evening. He's 10 weeks old and into everthing.

I was trying to clean house and he followed me everywhere, getting into things, chasing the vaccum around, messing up the beds. All that sort of thing.

Where was my daughter, you might be wondering?

Krystina has an uncanny ability to vanish anytime there is housework to be done!

She decided at the last minute that she just had to go to a talent show at school. One of her friends is from Egypt and she was doing an authenic belly-dance. It appears her friend is very talented. The boys went crazy!
