Amnesty International opposes the death penalty...as it is the ultimate denial of human rights...

When a member of the human race knowingly and wrongfully takes the life of another human for pleasure or any other selfish goal, they have crossed into the barrenness of inhumanity and thus forfeited the right to claim membership to its race. For true humans do not revel in taking the lives of others.

Good post, Amnesty International should stick to defending non-violent political prisoners, an area they can claim some success in. As far as helping the USA join the wonderful countries who don't sanction the death penalty, if you like 'em, move there.
