Don't you understand, Senator Denton? Making defamatory remarks (outright lies and malicious slanders) against your fellow combat veterans is what gets you elected to Congress in Cambridge, Massachusetts? What else can be so important?

Can we expect Wolf Blitzer to begin his show today on CNN with this article? How about Chris Matthews? Judy Woodruff? When hell freezes over...

I have a copy of his book "When Hell was in Session". An incredible read. The experience that he and other POWs went through is just mind boggling. A real patriot and hero.

The only way to get media coverage:
1. Stagecraft events, including press conferences, where words and signs are delivered in the first person;
2. Ridicule the opposition without mercy using irresistible soundbites that reveal deep truths;
3. Talk positive about our President, the economy, the War, America, at every opportunity.

I believe Hal Holbrook protrayed Admiral Denton in a movie about his 7-years in the Hanoi Hilton? If you can find it, its a must see. What this guy did as the ranking American held at the time and the courage he (and his fellow captors) displayed as a POW was remarkable.
To: Quilla
[ Let's remember that over 95 percent of Americans during our founding days were Christians, ]
99% actually... out of 200.. 2.. were (so-called)Dieists..

Oh com-mon, this guy just spent 7 years in a VC prisoner of war "hotel". Not like JFinKerry, 3 count em 3 PH's. ANNNND, he visited the VC in Pareeee, to accept terms of surrender. (How appropo) ANNNND, Denton mentioned the G word. (shhhhh, God). Therefore he must be some sort of FANATIC.
This qualifies his opinion for instant spike.

Admiral Denton is the POW who first alerted US of torture when he bravely stood in front of TV cameras and blinked Morse code "t-o-r-t-u-r-e" with his eyes during what was to have been a "propaganda" session for the world to see... and see we did, thanks to Jeremiah Denton.

a majority to whom Kerry and the Democrats disdainfully refer to as the "far right." They are people who believe in God and in the original concept of "one nation under God." That about sums it up .. To the Liberal Dems .. anyone who believes in God is Far Right
Great article Quilla .. thanks for posting it
