Sen. John Vasconcellos, D-Santa Clara, proposed the idea alongside three other lawmakers, saying the Internet, cellular phones, multichannel television and a diverse society makes today's teens better informed than generations of their predecessors. I haven't noticed that to be the case. The teenagers of today seem to be even worse informed than the teenagers of twenty or thirty years ago

John Vasconcellos, (democrat from Santa Clara, & member of the knucklehead caucus in Northern California), also introduced a self-esteem bill several years that was a big hoot too. Another good reason for term limits.

The teenagers of today seem to be even worse informed than the teenagers of twenty or thirty years ago Which is why the Dems now want to give them the vote.

Before allowing teens to vote, have them pass a test. Ask the following questions among others and lets see if they can get half of them right.
Who is the president of New Mexico?
France is in what continent?
China shares a border with Korea, Thailand, or Indonesia?
Are India and Pakistan two countries that battled each other for the last 400 years?
Name one African country.
If you named an African country, is it in the south, west, north or east part of the continent?
Teens today are poorly informed on facts that matter, despite access to the Internet! And that is despite most of our tax money being flung at schools.
