Among the 14 Arabs killed in yesterday's IDF counter-terrorism operation in Gaza were one child and a youth. IDF sources said that the two were placed in the line of fire, with the terrorists hiding behind them.
Lt.-Col. Ofer, commander of the Givati Brigade Patrol Battalion, told Yediot Acharonot, "The other side has a culture of using children as a human shield. We have several times seen armed Palestinians with children in their hands. They make sure to lift the children in the air [so that we can see them], assuming that we will then not shoot. Yesterday [on Shabbat], the children approached within a few meters of the tanks. Behind them, grenades were thrown - and exploded - at the tanks..."
Reports from the scene of yesterday's battle indicate that local Arabs use loudspeakers to encourage children to come out to the scene of the battle.

Mini shields, no doubt.

Only smaller targets. Precision guided technology should make pig food out of them.

Start dropping precision munitions on the targets and people will quickly get the idea that trying to shield these murderers is a good way to get killed very quickly.

Not only do they hide behind them, but they strap bombs to them. They are vermin.
The only way to deal with the problem is to forcibly remove the "Palestinians" from the area.
The middle east is 99.04% controlled by the Arab world. The other .06% belongs to Israel. This is not a fight about land.

More child sacrifice for their pagan god. They prefer Jewish children to die but Muslim boys are OK if it furthers their Islamikazi propaganda.

I wonder how feasable it would be to put a laser guidance or GPS device on a medium to heavy mortar round?
Soldier #1 illuminates the target with a laser that emits a frequency out of visible range or acquires the precise global cordinates and radios that the target is acquired.
Soldier #2 loads info into the guidance system of the mortar round and "WHUMP!", it is off. A few seconds later, a few Palies meet Allah and find out that Allah really means "Satan".

I wonder how feasable it would be to put a laser guidance or GPS device on a medium to heavy mortar round? There have been reports that Israel is developing a computorized counterbattery capability in anticipation of mortar/rocket attacks on the completion of the security fence. To target and fire withing the the minute or so window available without causing significant civilian casualties, I have to think that's exactly what's being developed.
