Well, that settles it: Kerry has to pick Ed Asner for V.P.

Red President

During the 1980s, U.S. Army Gen. Albion Knight, Jr. (Ret.) was asked by the Reagan administration to draft a list of goals that would be the framework of a Marxist president if one were elected in the U.S.

“We concluded that a Marxist or communist president, if he ever came to power, would focus on the transfer of national sovereignty at every opportunity to international organizations. He or she would also weaken the armed forces physically, mentally and spiritually. The ‘dumbing down’ of our public school educational system would also accelerate. He would disregard the Constitution at every opportunity and rule by decree, meaning executive orders would earmark such an administration.”

"Furthermore, we decided that a Marxist president would assist all or most of America's enemies -- Russia, China, Cuba, radical Islam, North Korea and others. ....Bogus arms control agreements, buying-off or intimidating Congress by stealing the FBI files of its members, controlling the media and trying to stop all alternative media would also be major goals."

In addressing the two terms in office of President Bill Clinton, Gen. Knight is resolute.

"What has Clinton done in this regard? He has hit every one of the above actions and more. I have a file over six inches thick with articles describing these actions. The salami slices add-up to a message of treason. Sex and perjury were the wrong impeachment offenses. It should have been on his treachery and failure to live up to his oath-of-office.

"Clinton has helped Marxists and terrorists and their 'world revolution' at every opportunity. Cultural Marxism is also a key Clinton goal. He has been giving us a bad example that it is all right to lie, cheat, steal, threaten and even rape women if it is done in high office. There is a steady movement toward a Gestapo-like control over the people. There is today in the U.S. a total lack of any sense of nation and its protection as required by his oath-of-office.

Furthermore, Clinton has been selling and giving our nuclear and other high technology secrets to communist China and giving Russia the money to re-arm at U.S. taxpayers' expense."

Keep your eye on the ball. An opportunity is coming for Hillary to take over the convention and become the nominee, no matter how many delegates Kerry has. If Kerry goes down in flames, as he is likely to given his record, then the Dims will need a new nominee. Think of the Torricelli replacement as the model. It may happen, so let's not get too overjoyed. We want Kerry to survive the convention.

The author has done some thinking on his own. The sad part is that he understands that if Kerry became president and turned to communism openly, the democrats of this country would support him.

It's an interesting theory, but John Kerry only has one principle: doing what's best for John Kerry.

I have to applaud Joee on this. Clinton is the perfect example of a sleeper--radicalized in his youth at Yale and Cambridge but then becomes a 'moderate'.

And we know he got election help from the Chinese.

It just happens to be the plot of a spy novel I'm in the processing of finishing up. :-)

Was that really written in the 1980s? Even the FBI file stealing comment? Is this from a book?

He raises some good points but it's a bit tinfoilish. Nevertheless, I'd be interested in being on the Adam Yoshida ping list. :o)

Interestingly, yesterday I started reading a paperback by the same title ("The Red President", Martin Gross)... has to do with a Democrat Presidential candidate (surprised?) that is "sympathetic" to the Soviets, first published in 1987.

Here is the jacket blurb...

"It is election time. The American people have cast their votes. And now, the country has a new President. Young and intelligent, charismatic and compassionate, he is the ideal leader. But behind the smooth exterior he is the ultimate spy... the perfect pawn for the Soviets... an agent with one devastating mission."

Well, at least Kerry is neither young nor charismatic. Stay tuned.

Thank you. Do you like Rants followed by Simple Poems? Written specifically about the 9/11 Bush Ad Flap? I hope you do because I'm going to post it again!

Rant

Why doesn't the media interview me? I could tell how offended I am by John Kerry's traitorous activities since coming home from Nam. I could discuss the fact that I have no idea where Kerry stands on any given issue at any given time since he appears to have no stand.

Though I feel for the families who lost someone on 9/11, the attacks are not their private property. The attacks were aimed at every American. I am sick of people acting like because they lost someone, this is private. Their loss is private but the attacks were not. I will never forget that it was an attack on me, my family, my friends, my nation. I take it personal as should every American.

If George W. Bush wants to use 9/11 in his campaign, that is his right. He was attacked too. His response to the attacks shows the character and courage his predecessor did not have when we were attacked so many times during those 8 dark years.

God Bless America and George W. Bush.

Accompanying Poem

We Remember

We saw the look upon his face,
Through whispers he was told.
We knew he felt just what we felt,
We wouldn’t sit here cold.
We knew this time that we would act,
And not just turn our head.
This time we’d go and we’d go big,
We wouldn’t bomb some shed.
He called them faceless cowards,
He vowed we’ll hunt them down.
We watched as he spoke to us all,
Sincerely, not some clown.
His eyes assured us he’d not rest,
Until they paid the price.
Yes we’d turn over every stone,
Until they were on ice.
He warned the battle would be long,
That many would forget.
That some would say, let’s just move on,
Not him, his mind was set.
We backed him then, we back him now,
The fight must still go on.
We can’t back down, we can’t let up,
Until the threat is gone.
God Bless our troops as on they fight,
Each day for them we pray.
We thank them all, for all they do,
“They are the best”, we say.
We will support our President,
He’s proven he will stand.
We’ll vote for Bush this coming fall,
We will protect this land.
