...finally pulled their heads out of their... well they signed it, anyway.
the bad guys are throwing the predictable temper tantrums.
If they had put it off again, though, I have no doubt it'd be alot worse.

This is an historic event. Amazing that they could come to any conclusion given their history.
A testament and punctuation to the correctness of what we have done there, and a step towards a true constitutional republic. A similar testament IMHO, at least in this particular area (because I do disagree with CFR, his immigration proposals, his stand on the AWB, etc), of President Bush's forsight and leadership on this issue.
Make no mistake, the liberals are chagrined by this, they were hoping it would not happen. They are not the friends of liberty, only of themselves.
I pray that the eventuality of a true constitutional republic in Iraq will be hastened.

"Council president Mohammed Bahr al-Ulloum called the signing a "historic moment, decisive in the history of Iraq."
And will this be the lead story on network news?

"There is no doubt that this document will strengthen Iraqi unity in a way never seen before," said Massoud Barzani, a Kurdish leader on the council. "This is the first time that we Kurds feel that we are citizens of Iraq." There's hope if the minority groups like the Kurds are happy with the structure of it. The main focal points of any decent Constitution are to curb the power of the majorities, the elected officials, and to guarantee htat individual rights will be respected.

And those children in prison had it so much better before set them free.
To: No Blue States
Well, in prison they were fed and received health care.
