The following is an excerpt from FOX News Sunday, March 7, 2004.
CHRIS WALLACE, HOST, FOX NEWS SUNDAY: Friday was to be a big day in Iraq, a formal ceremony at which the 25 members of the Governing Council were to sign an interim constitution. But at the last minute, five Shiite members had reservations about the plan, leaving the document unsigned.

I was less than impressed with Wallace today. For the Bush ad "controversy," they showed footage of a guy that had lost his son on 9/11 decrying the use of the images. There was no note of whether or not this individual was a member of "Military Families Speak Out."
The viewer deserves to know from where the guy was coming from. Shoddy reporting or the omission was intentional, haven't decided which.

BREMER:...I think you've got people in Iraq who have never experienced democracy, and they're wrestling with some of the big issues of democracy. Democracy's not just about majority rule; it is about protecting minority rights.
And I think, again, it's pretty extraordinary, the spectacle of Iraqis all over the country now debating things that we debated 200 years ago ourselves: freedom of speech, freedom to demonstrate, freedom of assembly. I think it's a wonderful thing.

I won't watch Chris Wallace...actually Fox has so many damn Democrats on that I almost NEVER watch it.
Fox USED to be Fair and Balanced, but alas....no more.

no surprise here regarding wallace. He grew up with a lefty wacko dad what do you expect?
To: sauropod
In fairness, I did hear Chris Wallace say (and sorry I don't remember the exact words) something like there are many 9/11 families that were not offended by the Bush ad.
It's going to be a long year re: the Media...

Then, during the "power player of the week" segment, about the director of the Holocaust Museum in DC, Wallace referenced Mel Gibson's comment about the holocaust: millions of people died, some of whom were Jews.
That happens to be true. Millions of other people died as a result of Nazism. Instead of doing a little research on what the demographic breakdown was of Hitler's victims, Wallace went for the cheap shot, slanting this in an unfair and (IMO) slanderous way.
FNC and FNS are gonna get a letter from me this week. Either Wallace does a better job or he should be fired.

Right on. I think we need to setup a Permanent FReep against Wallace until they send him away.

He said that in passing. The guy with the dead son should have been identified if he is with one of those anti-war groups or not.
Instead, the viewer was left with the impression that his was a prevalent opinion.

I stopped watching Wallace as well. We're probably Fox's core audience. If we don't watch maybe they'll dump him. I wish they'd bring back Tony Snow.

I think we can have an impact, especially those of us here in the Washington DC area. I think we may have impacted another of their "reporters" but I won't mention names until we see something permanent.

I really miss Tony Snow. He was the only one of the broadcast network hosts that gave Conservatives a break. Russert is fairer than the rest, but his bias does show.

I just sent an email to brit.hume but I don't know if Wallace is over Brit now or not.

I didn't like the constant laughing of Tony Snow. Brit Hume is the ONLY one I like on the whole daytime-nightime line-up.
