LONDON (AP) Prime Minister Tony Blair lacked ''critical thinking'' in the run-up to the Iraq war, former U.N. chief weapons inspector Hans Blix said in an interview published Saturday.
Blix told The Guardian newspaper that he was not accusing Blair of acting in bad faith, but said that the prime minister relied heavily on intelligence reports about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction.

Being called dumb (errrr, I mean lacking in critical thinking skills) by Hansel Blix cannot be considered an insult. It's just a ploy to get headlined/publicity for a book. And it works with left-biased media, don't it?

but said that the prime minister relied heavily on intelligence reports about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. What the heck should he have relied on, astrology?? What a jerk.

Sometimes you just know what needs to be done and you do it. I think that was the case with Hussein. His time was up and everyone knew it. Tony Blair and George Bush decided to take action.
However, if you choose to pick the pepper out of the fly poop, like Blix does, you'll never make a decision.
It's over and the world is a better place.

Blix says that Blair lacked 'critical thinking' in run-up to Iraq war I'm not going to bother to spend the time to dig them out (someone like Blix isn't worth it), but all during Blix's five minutes of fame, every time he opened his mouth and said something to the press I recall thinking that that he was demonstrating severe lack of "critical thinking" himself. His stated conclusions never followed from the arguments he gave for them.
