We Remember
We saw the look upon his face,
Through whispers he was told.
We knew he felt just what we felt,
We wouldnt sit here cold.

Thank you. I was afraid the poem was too mushy, but I love the man like a brother.
It's easy to write my funny stuff about Kerry and the dems but when I write about Bush, it is heartfelt.

(in the event of the rapture.......the Bush White House will be unmanned)
To: Conspiracy Guy
The attacks were aimed at every American. I am sick of people acting like because they lost someone, this is private. Their loss is private but the attacks were not. I will never forget that it was an attack on me, my family, my friends, my nation. I take it personal as should every American. This is such an excellent point you make. If the victims had been attacked in their homes (or even in public) by someone who singled them out for a personal vendetta, that would be a private matter. If the victims had been killed in an accident of some kind--plane crash, building collapse, car accident, poison gas from a refinery, etc.--then it would be a private matter. But those terrorists didn't care who they killed. It could have been literally anyone in the world inside those towers that day, and they all would have been the target.
I don't care how the victims families have reacted to this tragedy. If any one of them wishes to forgive the murderers and just "move on," that's just great. Good for them. But it isn't their place to forgive them on my behalf, because the next victim of these thugs may be someone I love. And I can assure you I would not forgive. Ever.

An incredible poem.......
To: Conspiracy Guy; Krodg
Great poem....Since It would be difficult to "get" to the WH, why don't we all start sending it through our email list or to the local newspapers. Better yet CG send it to Readers' Digest. Don't they do poetry?
Surely there is some way we can get this poem some recognition...Like any piece of art it not only speaks from your heart but says what we also feel.
