The recent "controversy" over President Bush's ad utilizing brief imagery of September 11, 2001 has been discussed in a recent barrage of media discussion.
Where was the outrage on January 13, 2004?
On this date, the John Kerry for President campaign released an ad entitled 'A Good American.' In this ad, John Kerry is lauded for his efforts in Vietnam, and shown in uniform, with an assault rifle. Certainly, this could be construed as highly offensive to those with a sensitivity or direct connection to the Vietnam War. Further, painting Kerry a "good American" for his service in this war could also be called into question, for this could be an implication that those who did not serve were or are not good Americans.

DEL SANDUSKY, UNITED STATES NAVY (Retired), KERRY CREWMATE: "The decisions that he made saved our lives. He had an unfailing instinct and unchallegeable leadership."
JOHN KERRY: "There's a sense after Vietnam that every other day is extra and that you have to do what's right, and let the chips fall where they may. Because it's right to guarantee all Americans health care. You know, it's right to roll back Bush tax cuts for the wealthy and invest in our kids. That's why I'm running for President."
SANDUSKY: "This is a good American."
KERRY: "I'm John Kerry and I approved this message."

I view Kerry's record as someone who got three scratches, turned tail and ran home to mommy.

" "The decisions that he made saved our lives."
Since Kerry continues to " stonewall " and refuses to release his full military record, statements like this cannot be substantiated.

John Kerry may have been a good American. He may have been a good leader in battle. I see him today and now as just another damned politician who would sell his soul for personal power and what he views as an elite status in Washington.

What does commanding a boat in Vietnam have to do with providing everybody health care? The connection of Vietnam to every conceivable issue has long since passed the point of ludicrous. And is "unchallengable" a word?

Grace, while on the one hand it enfuriates me to see the tactics the dems will use, on the other it shows me to what desperation they are driven. It's like my Grandpa said, "The only time they open their mouth is to change feet."

This election will be a test of whether American voters are truly idiots. The only thing that worries me is Bill Clinton made it twice.

I wouldn't doubt that Kerry's "wounds" weren't SELF INFLICTED. He refuses to release his military medical records as well as his VVAW FBI files.

Absolutely nothing. I served with guys who did river boat duty in VietNam; Kerry doesn't remind me of any of them. The guys I know have class; espaecially the officers; I'm retired enlisted, but these guys are class act. They served for longer than a few months and when they wear their medals they cover both sides of their uniforms. I'll tell you what if he hadn't turned the boat around to pick up the guy who fell overboard; the other crew members would have probably shot him.

Worse yet is to glorify himself for the rest of his life for something he did 30 years ago for 4 months!
He sure has a pitiful life if that's all he has to offer.

We will never know the truth about Kerry as long as we remain a "silent majority". We must demand full disclosure, as George W. provided. I say, FREEP the mainstream press until they put the pressure on the dems.

Hes a Hero to one man he pulled out of the water and just maybe to the others on the boat but he came back home and gave up that status in the name of Communism did he do his job? YES yes he did ! [For four months] ? Is he Patriotic ? Only if it benefits his communist goals and the CPUSA ! Is he unchallengeable NO ! whatever instinct he had turned to cowardices and appeasement by the time he got back to America
JOHN KERRY: "There's a sense after Vietnam that every other day is extra and that you have to do what's right, and let the chips fall where they may. There is no guarantee of health care ,child education, tax cuts or being wealthy in the Constitution The General welfare does not mean everyone gets everything free if it did we would already live in a "Communist Society"
SANDUSKY: "This is a good American."
Good is in the eyes and heart of the beholder he saved your life he will always be good for you even if he turns out to be a lowlife scumbag rapist like X42
KERRY: "I'm John Kerry and I approved this message."
Shame on you Mr Kerry For lying to Americans Everywhere and for trying to turn a free country into a third world vision of your communist ways
