This ('controversy') is a great oppty for the Bush campaign to really sharpen their knives for the rest of this campaign.

See, the Rats are going to "complain" EVERY TIME that Bush puts ANYTHING OUT, especially something that they think will hit with the American people (like patriotism, defense, etc..). So, what the Bush people need to do is to have a national quick-response team ready with COUNTER "ATTACK" TALKING POINTS to answer the RAT's 'quick-response' bullsht team, and turn the oppty into a BROAD OFFENSIVE on the RAT's "lack of credibility".

The Bush team should have 1 'theme' per week against Kerry (and really hammer it home the entire week) until the end of the election.

I heard a radio talk show host on the way in to work make the case that the "outrage" has been orchestrated by the Kerry campaign. Apparently the folks who are leading the charge are known Kerry supporters and peace activists.

These ads have one significant accomplishment:

They've highlighted the divide between the real "two Americas":

1) Those who say "Never Forget". We responded to the wake-up call.
vs.
2) Those whose greatest regret about 9/11 was that it showed Bush's leadership qualities. Remember the Dems wringing their hands, whining "if only Clinton had had such an 'defining moment'".

As usual, this is going to backfire on the left. The discussion has now changed from economy and Iraq back to 9-11...Bush's strongest point. The debate the last few months during the primaries is effectively over, and they are the dumba$$es that forced the change. Once again their irrational behavior backfires.

1. Inasmuch as John Kerry served in Vietnam, any negative reference to John Kerry's voting record during his 19 years in the Senate of the United States shall be deemed to be an attack on Kerry's patriotism.

2. Any images of Vietnam used in Kerry campaign commercials are not only appropriate, but serve as proof positive of John Kerry's fitness to serve the country as its president.

3. Any images of 9/11 used in Bush campaign commercials are not only inappropriate and exploitive, but shall also serve as proof positive that George Bush is unfit to serve the country as its president.

4. Any group of people who support the reelection of George Bush shall be deemed a "special interest." Any group of people who support the campaign of John Kerry shall be deemed a "constituency."

5. Kerry is not going to "raise taxes" - he's going to "roll back the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy"

6. Kerry's attack on his fellow soldiers during the Vietnam war was not treason, or giving aid to the enemy. Likewise, Kerry's flip-flop on the war in Iraq, and attack on the war while soldiers are still on the ground is not demoralizing to the troops and is not using the war in his political interests. Bush, on the other hand, started the war purely for political gain.

7. Kerry volunteering for coastal patrol at a time when it was a relatively safe assignment, and bugging out after his third no-time-lost-from-duty injury is heroic. Bush volunteering for fighter jets that would most likely have taken him to Vietnam, but being turned down for lack of experience, is not heroic.

8. Bush must open his war records and medical records to prove that he showed up in Alabama. Kerry does not have to open his war records and medical records to prove that his wounds were not superficial and that his medals were not awarded in bad faith.

I'm almost certain that Al Gore recently gave a speech in which he called President Bush a "traitor." Please correct me if I am wrong and someone mis-quoted Gore, but I could almost swear he called Bush a "traitor." But notice how if anyone questions Kerry's voting record, Kerry's supporters immediately get offended and say how dare anyone question Kerry's patriotism.

I think it is called "transferrence" where someone with a guilty conscience attributes to others what he himself feels guilty about. For example, an alcoholic who waged a temperance campaign, someone who fears he has homosexual tendencies who wants to lynch gays, someone who is afraid of his own violent tendencies who wants to ban guns, an anti-smut crusader who is addicted to smut and is cheating on his wife, a dishonest person who is paranoid about everyone, etc.

You are correct. Gore ranted in a "fire and brimstone" speech to TN Dems about how Bush had "betrayed" the United States by ordering a war against Saddam Hussein that had been "preordained and planned before 9-11 ever took place." What hogwash.

Anyone knows how to report my complaint to the general
media about Kerry's ads on VN.... Many of our Vietnamese
American families (mine included) were executed and tortured
by the VC after the fall of Saigon which Kerry and other anti-VN war movement followers had helped the enemy... His hands had blood of our VN men and women; By showing his pictures wearing the military uniform during the VN war,
he and his DNC are worst of all man-kinds.. This is an
insult and outrage to all VNese victims living in the
States. I have asked the DNC to withdraw the ads or face

The exact thing the Demorats want everyone to forget is 9/11 and everything connected with it. The naysayers may have had someone in the buildings, and are New Yorkers, but the DNC got to them and told them to let the newspapers know how OUTRAGED they were President Bush had a mention (13seconds) in his first ads. I say more and often!!!!! WE MUST remember 9/ll and remind everyone WHO STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE!! President Bush is responsible for a REAL answer to the terrorists on our behalf...say on my behalf, and has put every terrorist on mark....this is exactly what the McAuliffe's, the Clintons and the likes of them and the Kennedy's don't want mentioned!!
