I think Gore said that he had "betrayed" this country. Although there is very little difference except semantics. Doesn't betray and traitor have essentially the same definition? So, yup, IMO, he called the President a traitor without actually saying the word.

You are correct. Gore ranted in a "fire and brimstone" speech to TN Dems about how Bush had "betrayed" the United States by ordering a war against Saddam Hussein that had been "preordained and planned before 9-11 ever took place." What hogwash.
