Many translators of the Qur’an have translated the word hoor as ‘beautiful maidens’ especially in the Urdu translations.

Yeah, but there is a time differential of several thousand years, here. Also, Ancient Egyptian like Hebrew and Arabic lacks symbols for vowels. So was the name really "Hoor"?

Or was it "Haar" or "Huur" or "Ohor"?
