All the man-of-the-street quotes are from Kerry supporters or Bush bashers.
Biased article is too weak a description, full-fledged anti-Bush propaganda would begin to cover it.

This article is a set-up and the AP should know it. On September 24, 2003 Harold Scheitberger declared the International Association of Fire Fighters would back John Kerry. If a good reporter checks those who responded I feel sure that the family names were supplied by the IAFF and could be depended upon to toe the Democrat line.

The AP uses a quote from a Bush hater who opposed the war on terror in Afghanistan.
Since the Afghanistan campaign is fully supported by most Democrats, this Bush hater is an outright wacko, not a mainstream relative of a 9-11 victim.
Can anyone post a link to this AP reporter's boss' e-mail?
I need to send to the editor in charge of this crap being published.

Thanks for the ping. Gotta get away from this machine for a while. My Dad's coming up and staying over tonight so we can go to a AYCE lunch buffet for a family get together tomorrow.
See ya later ...

Another thing we need to ask ourselves is..... did any of these same people cry out against the sorry ads the dems put out about Bush pushing old people down the stairs, etc? I find that more distasteful than GOP reminding us WHO took charge at a most tragic event in our history. Bush is entitled to list 9/11 on his resume to the American people!

No matter how painful it may be the families that lost loved ones on 9/11 that disagree with the extreme left that has taken upon themselves to try to represent everyone, has to start speaking out. If they don't begin to stand up and respectfully disagree they will have the world thinking that they all think like the very vocal minority.
Unfortunately 9/11 families are suffering the same problem that military families are suffering. We have a few vocal extreme families out there trying to speak for everyone. We would rather just keep quite and worry but we have to take up a battle on our own home front in order to not have our family misused. It is a cruel ploy of the left to try to strike people when they feel the most helpless to act.

I need to send to the editor in charge of this crap being published. We need to call me media out on these things. It is an outrage! I believe that all these people have a right to their opinions, but shouldn't the reporter have identified who they were, other than just by name? It is disingenuous at best. Sinister propaganda at worst..

I heard some idiot on the radio going on about how disgraceful it was. I wanted to yank him throught the radio and ask him if he said the same SH*T when the DemocRATS aired their distasteful ads about Bush! Absolutely nothing that I watch on the news or hear on the radio seems neutral to me anymore. I can see through all their agenda and when they seem to be saying "The state of the economy is bla bla" or "The weather in California is bla bla" all I hear is "Bush is evil, vote democrat". On the one hand it drives me nuts, on the otherhand, I'm glad to be enlightened.

Google em all and I wouldn't be surprised to discover their John F. Kerry supporters. And what's dishonest is the liberal media pretending they're non-partisan grieving 9-11 survivors who have just tuned into the TV and seen the Bush commercial. Give me a break! The truth is the Democrats are weak on 9-11 which is powerful stuff - both an indictment of their failure to protect the country in the eight years that led up to it and their contempt for President Bush's leadership in its aftermath to make us more secure. That's why they're afraid of this commercial being run. If its meaningless, then the American people will see it as the political exercise the Democrat claim it is. However, its more likely the American people will be reminded of the fact its the opposition that is playing politics with 9-11 and they're the ones resorting to the revolting tactic of trotting out widows and survivors to take issue with the President. I am confident of one thing: when it comes to 9-11, President Bush holds the moral high ground and the Democrats know it.

Google em all and I wouldn't be surprised to discover their John F. Kerry supporters. If you go through the thread, I did just that. 3 of the 4. The other one (the Republican) didnt turn up anything untoward. Amazing however that the media does this, and (used to anyway) gets away with it.

LOL.....I know how you feel. I am beginning to think along those lines too.....like as soon as I notice that the news seems to be kind of winding down, nothing much to report......I believe that some of these reporters make up stories to report! And, I'm not quite sure, but I think they repeat the same stories every three to five years. Sometimes I'm thinking....gee, didn't they report that same story about 2 years ago?
I think they ought to rename it from News to Same Ole Story!

Another freeper posted this thread:
"Furor" over Bush's 9/11 add (Media Bias alert)Kristen Breitweiser, whose photo is captioned on the right hand side. Here is what she said of the President on September 11, 2003 : "Bush is a man of action; in fact, he is an action hero. Except, of course, when it really counts, like in those early morning hours when this country was under attack and our Commander in Chief was drinking milk and eating cookies with second graders. Can you imagine one of those second-graders years from now when they are asked where they were on the morning of 9/11? They will simply say, 'I was sitting with the President reading him a story.'" http://www.muslimwakeup.com/quotesarchives/2003_09.html
To: PISANO
Its out of bounds for the President to defend his record. Its kosher for the Democrats to attack him on it. That's what this "furor" is really all about - to deprive the President of one of his strongest cards for re-election as the general election campaign gets underway. Friends and Freepers, our Democratic friends are good with thuggery and intimidation. The President should ignore their howls and keep on screening the commercial.
