This is a great tactic - if liberals vote for it, they are acknowledging that the fetus is living and worthy of compassion, which raises the question of why they should be allowed to kill it.
If they vote against it, they are saying that they not only want the baby killed, they want it to suffer horribly.

Some pro-lifers will say its not enough, and those opposed to it will have to take on the consequences you mentioned. I think the latter is one of the reasons that Del. Richard Black introduced this legislation. Even if it fails this time around, it gets some people to thinking...

IMO the one sure thing that will end Roe v. Wade will be if proof of a "gay" gene is found. Short of that I'm afraid that it will remain in place, to our national shame.
