[history]
It happened at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner of the Allegheny County Republican Party, March 20, 1991, at the William Penn Hotel.
At the time the first George Bush was still flush with victory in the Persian Gulf, and dinnergoers chortled over a videotaped presentation of assorted senate Democrats backpedaling in the wake of a war they'd opposed. Well, when I have gotten form letters (that clearly showed they did not refer to any specific arguments I had), they would be saying "thank you for your support and I agree with you for the following reasons blah blah" if I wrote something they liked. If I wrote something they did not like, they would say "thank you for your concern. Unfortunately, I do not agree with you on this and can't vote the way you ask me to. Here is why: blah blah. Nonetheless, your opinion is valuable blah blah blah".
They never would actually say they agreed with my position even if they disagreed. They at least were honest to say why they disagreed.
Kerry can't even do that; he just acts like he agrees, which is patently dishonest.

Definitely not Fonda Ketchup Kerry. The man's allegiance to shadowy groups freaks me out.

You couldn't make this stuff up in an X-Files episode. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.
