A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 3.3.04
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov ^ | March 3, 2004 | GretchenEE

Posted on 03/03/2004 1:35:35 PM PST by GretchenEE

The President is and will be on the road for the next six days. Right now he's on West Coast time, which would make the Dose quite late for Easterners, so I'm posting what's out there, with the expectation that there might be more photos tonight.

President Bush is in Los Angeles today, and will travel in California and then Texas to do some fundraising and receive President Fox of Mexico at The Ranch.

Vice President Cheney reiterated to the press his acceptance as running mate with George Bush for this year's election. It seems he has to keep repeating this because the media doesn't like the answer they're hearing.

Enjoy today's Dose of W, and welcome to Sanity Island.

Whenever you hear these people going ballistic, just remember what Shakespeare said:

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing!

I've been around off and on, but I've had meetings two nights in a row (and daughter has been spending a lot of time on the computer).

Funny thing. We met with an insurance agent about a long term care policy, and started talking politics.

He's a Republican, and he says that almost ALL of his clients are too.

You see.......conservatives want to take care of themselves when they get older, and liberals want the government to do it!

Crazy, eh??

btw, check out those Bush ads.....they're GREAT!

Sis! I'm counting the days until Spring Break. Just nine more, and boy do I need this break!!!

I almost had the opportunity to go to a Cheney luncheon, but I'll be in Utah with the fam for Spring Break. The lunch only cost $250. Hopefully there will be more opportunities in the future.

More good news: I've put my name on the ballot for Arizona College Republicans First Vice Chair. I'd be third in line of the Az CR's if I'm elected. THe guy from the Univ of Az in Tucson who talked me into running thinks that I have a pretty good chance. I think the elections are at the end of March.

Thanks kay. I'm really excited for this opportunity. Our university isn't as active with the other colleges since we're much futher away, so I'm hoping that getting representation from our campus will help to unite the three state colleges.

Thanks for keeping my shady past under wraps. :)

The days are winding down. Pretty soon, you can start counting the hours.

Stay safe, Mike.
