The President is and will be on the road for the next six days. Right now he's on West Coast time, which would make the Dose quite late for Easterners, so I'm posting what's out there, with the expectation that there might be more photos tonight.
President Bush is in Los Angeles today, and will travel in California and then Texas to do some fundraising and receive President Fox of Mexico at The Ranch.
Vice President Cheney reiterated to the press his acceptance as running mate with George Bush for this year's election. It seems he has to keep repeating this because the media doesn't like the answer they're hearing.
Enjoy today's Dose of W, and welcome to Sanity Island.

The candidates by law must all
say that now.

From the Bush/Cheney Campaign:
***Unlike the Kerry campaign's first ads last September, which included an attack on the President, our first ads are all positive, focusing on President Bush's steady leadership in times of change.***

But I can well imagine Kerry denying he approved an ad even after the disclaimer.

Thanks Gretchen, we won't forget dear old Spot Fletcher.
Still reading Barbara's book. She told of taking Millie and all the pups to the fence so visitors could see them.
Unfortunately the pups were small enough to wiggle through the fence into the crowd.
Fortunately, people push the puppies back in. Spot was probably the ring leader in that little adventure.

"The new ads are quite good.
They have our President saying that he approved the ads. Different idea. I guess that is to distinquish between others that may slam Kerry late on in the campaign."
The new campaign regulations REQUIRE the candidate to say that he/she approved the ad!
The ads are AWESOME!!!!!

The new campaign regulations REQUIRE the candidate to say that he/she approved the ad! Thanks. I could have sworn Kerry had an ad that didn't do that. Then again, I'm hard of hearing, especially when it come to dems. :-)

Hi!!!
Just now saw your pin post ...sometimes in the *heat* of conversation (if the "call waiting" ding thing isn't clicked on) it's easy to miss a *ping*.
The Bush-pin place is terrific...they're sooo nice.
I called another place today and ordered a life size cardboard cutout of W! He said some guy called and ordered his entire stock, so there won't be more til next week. $35 plus $8 for shipping. Should get plenty of use between now and Novenber! I'd like to get an extra one, cut it in half and put it in the passenger seat while driving! LOL ...'only I couldn't bear cutting it in half :'-(
I don't have the link, but here's the number for anyone interested: (407) 333-2983

Hi Gretchen,
Here, here.
Made the mistake of visiting the "Bush Silences Critics" thread about Howard Stern.
Somebody cares more about having Stern on the radio, than our W in the White House. Of course, it is all Bush's fault.
Free Republic is getting vewwwy scawwwwy lately. :0)
