A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 3.3.04
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov ^ | March 3, 2004 | GretchenEE

Posted on 03/03/2004 1:35:35 PM PST by GretchenEE

The President is and will be on the road for the next six days. Right now he's on West Coast time, which would make the Dose quite late for Easterners, so I'm posting what's out there, with the expectation that there might be more photos tonight.

President Bush is in Los Angeles today, and will travel in California and then Texas to do some fundraising and receive President Fox of Mexico at The Ranch.

Vice President Cheney reiterated to the press his acceptance as running mate with George Bush for this year's election. It seems he has to keep repeating this because the media doesn't like the answer they're hearing.

Enjoy today's Dose of W, and welcome to Sanity Island.

Hopefully this will lighten the load of whoever's posting today!

Interesting how Gibson's "The Passion" timing coincides with Bush's Faith-based Initiative.

When Mike returns to the US, his first stop is Ft Campbell...it's a demobiliztion process...health exams, finance etc...Ft Campbell has requested that families do not descend on Campbell to see their soldiers...this process takes 5 to 7 days and if they have to start issuing passes it will delay the whole unit.

I feel so spoiled, living in a restauranteur's and grocer's and eating person's haven. Excellent seafood in just about any variety, excellent beef, grown-in-Washington poultry (wouldn't touch Tyson's with a ten-foot pole for political reasons), and all sorts of nationally-grown and international delicacies. We have such an abundance and variety at every season that it jolted me to read your posts about what lacks. Maybe your local food people can get a fire lit under them!

it's gonna be a LLLOOONNNGGGG Campaign.

Let's pray it doesn't get nasty! We have the power to influence that aspect through our intercession.

LOL...it wouldn't work...Decatur, Il is the most backward city I have ever lived in....they have even been fighting Target who wants to open a store here, too much traffic....unbelievable!....so if you want to shop at a decent store, you have to travel 45mi west to Springfield....we don't even have a toy store here!......but we have 2 super Walmarts!!!

Can you explain to me where you found the rest? I think you're right. That's the sequence that I put in order and commented on when it happened.

Excellent. I'm getting ready to post soon, and will delete the few I had of those from my file.

I'm taking daughter #2 out for her 4.0 grade card tonight, so I'm getting the Dose posted before we leave.

(If she keeps this up, she'll be the fourth of our four kids to be Valedictorian/Salutatorian!)

Did you ping the list to see these?? There are some GREAT ones here!

Yes, but each election presents new opportunities for things to get way out of control, reach new depths and torments for the country and rive it, OR for the praying folks to put their all into pleas heavenward for decency, restraint, and the like.

I refuse to leave it to the dogs!

I don't know where to find the others. I saw that one on Yahoo and it reminded me of the others. I think I have them on my computer somewhere, but I haven't been able to locate them. Maybe it will be easier since I know what they are wearing.
