The President is and will be on the road for the next six days. Right now he's on West Coast time, which would make the Dose quite late for Easterners, so I'm posting what's out there, with the expectation that there might be more photos tonight.
President Bush is in Los Angeles today, and will travel in California and then Texas to do some fundraising and receive President Fox of Mexico at The Ranch.
Vice President Cheney reiterated to the press his acceptance as running mate with George Bush for this year's election. It seems he has to keep repeating this because the media doesn't like the answer they're hearing.
Enjoy today's Dose of W, and welcome to Sanity Island.

Indeed, DrDeb, an EXCELLENT article.
I was going to recommend posting it on its own merit, but I see it's already been done, as posts 1089362 and 1088858.
Thanks for putting it on the Dose - I'd have missed it otherwise.

Quizno's subs. That dead hamster thing creeps me out, too. My kids think it's so funny to watch me cover my eyes and do the "lalalalalalala" thing so I can't hear it.
I even emailed them a complaint about the commercial. They responded with a very nice email and an invitation to print off a coupon. Just go to the link and click for your coupon it says.
Guess what. To get the coupon, you have to get the ON-LINE VERSION OF THE COMMERCIAL first.
I was not amused.

Deb, I also sent an email to Brit Hume, Rosen's boss. I have been in a running battle with this guy Rosen, for his "cheap shots" in his reporting. I was doing a running email "dialogue" with Rosen (james.rosen@foxnews.com) until he asked me to stop emailing him. He was actually answering me for a while. Then I started emailing to Brit, but have never gotten a response.
I'm glad someone else is on the case. Maybe we can fill up his inbox?

Yes, San Jose and northern CA are gorgeous. San Diego isn't AS pretty, but has the consistently best weather in the country.
Have always wanted to visit Indiana. Would like to make a Freep Sweep trip across the US and put faces to the friends here.
The cruise sounds FUN!!! I've always wanted to take a cruise and sketch portraits of everyone. My idea of heaven.

Yes, that's the picture I'm talking about. I think there are two or three other pictures that have Laura grabbing the President's Arm. The next one she has her hand closer to his wrist. The last picture is when they are holding hands.

Thank you for that information. I'll look him up this weekend, and bring it up at our next meeting on Monday.
Our campus is very liberal. I think more so than the other two. We're up in the mountains with all the forests and tree huggers. But our group is growing. We started with about 12 consistant members, and now we're up to 20, with five to seven that come when they have the time. I think last year they only had about seven or eight that came all the time.

Here are the rest of the photos that were taken last night.
"Video image from a President Bush campaign ad, released Wednesday, March 3, 2004, showing the World Trade Center and a funeral. President Bush's re-election campaign *defended* commercials using images from the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, including wreckage of the World Trade Center, as appropriate for an election about public policy and the war on terror." Fun note found at Yahoo! "[Karen] Hughes on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 took a pointed jab at Sen. John Kerry, saying the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee lacks the 'message clarity' of her former boss."
