Soft and fluffy doesn't exactly fire anybody up. We know who he is, that he is a decent man, the President that is, and that to allow anyone else to take the Presidency would be like committing suicide. My point is, give the grass roots something to get excited about. Soft and fluffy?... OK, give me some soft and fluffy... but hellfire man, give me something to fire me up too.

I understand! I would like a little more fire too .. but then we're already in the Bush camp and we want to kick some butt after the way the dems have battered and maligned our President for the last several months.
But .. I can understand why they started out the way they did. It's just a reminder of who the President is, and what he believes in. I'm confident these will only run for a few weeks and then they will begin inserting some which are a little more agressive.
First, the President has to establish who he is (because his image has been so distorted). Then it will be time to define the nominee. But .. there are some repubs (3-4) already out there bashing Kerry's voting record (mainly people who are in the Congress).
We must be patient! It's hard, I know!

Clearly you are using the clintonian dictionary first released during certain grand jury testimony and now considered the democrat bible.

I have... no idea what you're talking about...

Relax...this is the first "serious" of ads when the election is many, many months away.
The idea at this time is to build up our candidate, his character, his accomplishments....etc. The timing is right for this as all the Dems and their many organs are on the "Hate Bush" mantra. The contrast will be startling to the great uninvolved out there.
The red meat stuff will come later when again the great univolved finally wake up and start thinking about a Presidential Election.
I'm just happy that they are finally starting now. Remember the accerilated, front end loaded primaries have moved the calender earlier.
The pubbies have learned not to repeat the Harley Barbour mistake and hoarding the funds and waiting until it was too late.
