DICK MORRIS -- "DemocRATS slit their throat tonight"
Al Rantel show

Al Rantel and Larry Elder are on KABC with Dick Morris. Dick said that the DemocRATS slit their throats tonight. Kerry was not vetted. He will be seen as a Dukakis liberal.
Bush will spend 150 million dollars in ads up to convention time.
It is too late. Kerry will have the delegates and cannot be un-nominated.
Kerry looked like a reasonable candidate after Howard Dean. When his record is exposed, he will be in deep trouble. Bush must not be nice --- he must use negative ads, go after him, and define him.
Possible for Hillary to take VP spot but Dick thinks Kerry may be in so much trouble by convention time that she will run away screaming.

I find Morris entertaining, but on substance, he's most often wrong. For example, "Hillary's not gonna run for Senate in NY." Then: "She can't possibly win."

Bad news. If Dick Morris is predicting that Bush is going to win, you can look forward to a President Kerry next year. There is no better contrarian indicator in politics today than Dickie Morris. Not to worry. He'll change his mind in favor of the dem just before Election Day. As a result, the contrarian indicator will point in our favor.

With Dick Morris's track record, I would rather Dick predicting a Kerry landslideGive him a few weeks. That's about how often he changes his thinking.

There will have to be an "unofficial" voice. The RNC can't get too negative and the ultra-left wing media simply won't cover many items. Kerry is different than Dukakis. True, they wre both left-wingers but Kerry is also many more things.
Kerry is a multi-millionare masquerading as a regular guy. He is married to a multi-multi-millionaire, and African-American who is a neocommunist nut case. Between them, they have many household servants (many illegals), many home/apartments/vacation getaways and foreign business interests. They take advantage of all the wealthy's tax breaks - we have to know about that. Kerry is a traitor who actually killed Americans in Nam after he came home. His divorce decree and prenup contain key clues about his nature.
Someone will have to raise these issues and draw the conclusions in response to his deceptions. He has held a gentleman's position for all these years, never anticipating that his past might mean something. He is dirty on every dimension, someone just has to dig it out!

Kerry won't ask Hillary because she'll make it clear in advance that she won't accept.
The Clintons are more than happy to see Kerry crash and burn this year. It clears the deck.
Hillary will never be elected President, though. Unless her opponent in 2008 is Chafee or Specter, there's not a conservative who would stay home or vote third party.

"Bush must not be nice --- he must use negative ads, go after him, and define him."
There are at least two areas that I would like to see developed.
Was there a Kerry-Condit connection?
To what extent has Kerry's personal wealth increased since he turned his back on the MIA/POW's?

Dickie Do likes Bill more than Hillary. Maybe she outed him for for his toe-sucking shenanigans. Better outed than offed and Arkancide I always say.

While I generally don't trust Morris's predictive powers any more than anyone else around here does, predicting Kerry losing in November is like predicting snow in December. Sounds like Morris is trying to rehabilitate his record by making statements as profoundly prophetic as declaring that the sun will rise sometime around dawn.

Dick Morris is like a broken clock, he is right twice a day. We forget when he is wrong, most of the time, just when he is right.

I heard a recent interview with Dick Morris on the Sean Hannity show where Morris said he was "terrified for Bush" because of certain polls, meaning he thought Bush was in deep trouble.
Now this. Yes, people can change their minds, but does Morris really know what he's talking about? One day he's terrified for Bush and another day the Democrats are slitting their own throats.
Personally, I think that Democrats are thrilled with Kerry and are really, really pumped to beat Bush. Bush is going to have to work hard and not be Mr. Nice Guy, but he doesn't seem to be listening to that kind of advice.

It is too late. Kerry will have the delegates and cannot be un-nominated.I didn't think Toricelli could withdraw and be replaced by Lautenberg after the primaries, so the Dems in NJ would "have a candidate who could win", but it happened.
